There are many things about women you can complain about. But this isn't one of them. If you look at their finances, they've been profitable for the last 4 years.

The reason why they are laying off so many in the US and Canada is because they're shifting away from ICE car production + new automation platforms allows for less employees. And labour is expensive here. Its more profitable to make vehicles in Mexico to stay competitive with the Japanese. This strike by the UAW is the tipping point for GM to stay alive in the future.

What about bashing the Male Execs who bankrupt the company and took handouts from the Goverment back in 2009...

To be fair, Carlos Tavares and Maxime Picat did the same with Peugeot after taking it over as a failing company and it's now a healthy car manufacturer making profit. They even bought Opel from GM, turning it into profit in less than a year - impressive considering under GM ownership Opel had made an average of $1B loss annually in the previous 19 years. Just shows how bad GM management has been.

lmao the same thing is happening at my job. mostly female bosses, mostly female coworkers, and they are constantly moving them up and now people are quitting left and right and we had to have a job fair with a booth in our damn store because we need more people.

Now i'm not saying that's the only reason but it definitely contributes when you see them gossiping and doing absolutely nothing but complain instead of work.
