You are free to expect her to love you with all of her heart and soul -- but her love is temporary. In order to keep her around for any length of time, there's work that you need to do to maintain her level of interest.

There are many ways of doing this, but to forego the work, to pretend that she'll love you and give you blow jobs and cook you food until you're both 85 no matter what you do is just plain silly. That mindset is disconnected from reality.
