Took me years to realize walking away from arguments and drama was the only solution. Trying to be the NiceGuyTM and being the perfect boyfriend is a pipe dream. They want a guy with issues to match their issues. I figured out being an asshole is the only way to deal with them in every aspect.

I find it depends on their age, what time period they grew up in. For instance I was helping my mother move a cabinet over the weekend. She refused to help me carry it in a way that made it easy for me to hold all the weight, so I started getting short, eventually telling her sternly to go inside if she can't listen or help. She did, no questions asked (but of course was pouting). She could tell I was reaching the point of no return. This would not work on a female my age. A woman my age would dig in while refusing to drop the argument, and I think it has a lot to do with age and being conditioned young by a father to never push a man beyond the brink. We've clearly lost this, and now the expected behavior is doubling down.

I've found that women still instinctually 'get it'.. just like a child knows when a man mean business and stops whatever they were doing wrong. As long as you put your foot down firmly enough and say it with intent, they fall in line pretty quick. In fact maybe even moreso nowdays because it's such a rare and lost quality in the west.
[–]Kinetic_Wolf16 points17 points18 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Yup. That isn't the issue, on a personal to personal level, women haven't changed much. But if you're assertive, even dominant, they can just call the cops and have you arrested / beaten to death, or call their white knight orbiters.
The issue is the system, not women.
[–]Throwseph1208096 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
They 'can', yes. But they can do that even if you're not assertive or dominant too. The current system empowers and even encourages them to make accusations regardless. But I do think we're beginning to see the pendulum swing back in the opposite direction a bit, with more and more women being charged for making false or baseless accusations.
[–]WanderlustYouth0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Even back then they could just lie and get the community to beat the shit out of you

[–]WanderlustYouth0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Its why i don't get angry at my mom any more, i've realized im now far more mentally mature than she is and as such her nagging and little tantrums are simply amusing.
[–]Fantoche_Dreemurr1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Women stop aging mentally at around 12, when they see they can get away with anything by fake crying or playing cute. This is the extend of their development.
[–]WanderlustYouth1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Actually i follow more closely what Schopenhauer says on the matter
"The nobler and more perfect a thing is, the later and slower is it in reaching maturity. Man reaches the maturity of his reasoning and mental faculties scarcely before he is eight-and-twenty; woman when she is eighteen; but hers is reason of very narrow limitations. This is why women remain children all their lives, for they always see only what is near at hand, cling to the present, take the appearance of a thing for reality, and prefer trifling matters to the most important. It is by virtue of man’s reasoning powers that he does not live in the present only, like the brute, but observes and ponders over the past and future; and from this spring discretion, care, and that anxiety which we so frequently notice in people. The advantages, as well as the disadvantages, that this entails, make woman, in consequence of her weaker reasoning powers, less of a partaker in them. Moreover, she is intellectually short-sighted, for although her intuitive understanding quickly perceives what is near to her, on the other hand her circle of vision is limited and does not embrace anything that is remote; hence everything that is absent or past, or in the future, affects women in a less degree than men. This is why they have greater inclination for extravagance, which sometimes borders on madness. Women in their hearts think that men are intended to earn money so that they may spend it, if possible during their husband’s lifetime, but at any rate after his death." - Schopenhauer's " On Women"
[–]Throwseph12080934 points35 points36 points 6 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
For me it's always just 'No. You don't get to do that. You made choice 'x' now deal with it. I'm going out for drinks with the mates.'
Women want to be treated like a child and called out on their bullshit. It's when you supplicate like a little bitch and fumble around trying to 'fix it' that they lose all respect for you.
[–]artographic18 points19 points20 points 6 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Part of me always knew this, but I had trouble doing that with my last relationship since she was sexually abused as a child and I wanted to help her get her life together. Since she was going through massive anxiety and other stuff at the time. I thought back then there was no way a woman who has gone through would fuck me over. What I learned from the whole expeirence was in the end I was treated like dirt even after I did arguably what would be seen as the moral and mature thing to do by society. But all it did was make her lose respect for me in the end. It sucks but honestly when I think about it she would've dragged my ass down, since she was not capable of truly assisting my goals. That's what lead me to mgtow, after that whole disaster.
[–]six-twosix11 points12 points13 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Damn... That's tough. You'd think helping a person gather the pieces would make them respect you more but of course we live in clown world. Thought I'd say you'll always get different responses between the sexes. A woman who has been abused in today's society (in my opinion) would care little about fixing herself psychologically and mentally given the privileges she has now gained as a victim, therefore, trying to fix her is the worst thing you could ever do in her eyes, you are in fact, the problem.
She's not looking for someone to fix her, she's looking for someone that will pity her and preferably, a person she can manipulate, an unfortunate man who will give her stuff, make all the decisions for her, etc. An unfortunate soul will waste his time and energy trying to help someone who doesn't want to change. Overall, she's just taking advantage of people's feelings and wasting everyone's time and resources.
I know this sounds a bit harsh, but it only sounds harsh because it's directed at women. Men go through the same shit, and even worse shit and are still expected to suck it up and keep moving like nothing happened.
Nevertheless an abused woman is still a woman.
In such a predicament a man would respect the fuck out of you. Since he knows society doesn't give a shit about him, he cannot play the victim card, he is literally all alone. This is why when you help a man in grave need, or a man who's been abused, he will remember you till he's six feet under.
[–]artographic2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You're absolutely right about her by the way. That description is not harsh at all, as that is who she is. My friends later found this out when she made a public post under her own that said "yes, give me that sweet sweet reassurance" only a complete narcissist would say some shit like that after getting praise.
What's actually kinda funny though is how this ended, so I came into work and my boss saw I was a bit down and asked me what was up since he noticed I was a lot more silent than usual. I told him basically what happened with my ex and then he asked me if she was the daughter of (insert her mother's name here) and I said yes. And that's when he told me he dated her mom when she was younger and he dealt with the same issue. While she was not abused like her daughter, there was severe anxiety issues and being closed off. And he later found out what happened with her daughter being abused so he already knew everything I did from the relationship.
It was like a weird father and son talk as I just realized my boss went through pretty much the same shit I did dating her mom. And he basically ended up telling me what you told me saying "dude this is not your fault, she's the damaged daughter of a damaged single mother from a broken family." You gave it your all, but what you got to understand is unless someone is willing to break out of their bad habits themselves they will probably never get better, a lot of women who go through abuse never fully heal and I doubt she could/will ever be capable of that as her mom never grew out of it. So now I think wow, I guess I dodged a speeding bullet.
But every now and then I feel some regret as I didnt really lay into her when we broke up that she was just manipulating me and was a pathetic wench. But by the time we broke up, I was so heartbroken all I could do was take my stuff and say "hope you get your shit together" and walk away. Part of me wishes I never said even that. But for what its worth I really did love her. Just I know now I cant really love any woman. As romantic love doesnr really exist, and theres no point now in dedicating to a woman anymore as society refuses to keep a woman's hypergamy in check and shun her if she acts like a slut. It just encourages her to cheat, and so on.
All women are hypergamous but when society and culture supported the idea women stay loyal to their men, be good mothers and do not act like a slut and so on things were in balance. Because her fear of being kicked or shunned from society by her acting off from those ideals kept her in check.
[–]hanskywalk3r1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I went through something similar with my ex. She had it rough growing up. I was there for her to get her life together and then she got bored and drifted away. Guess I should've just treated her as shitty as the world had and got what I wanted but silly me, I cared about her and wanted to see her reach her potential.
[–]artographic2 points3 points4 points 6 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Yeah I feel you, I got plenty of passionate sex despite what I was doing with helping her out it just all came to a screeching halt eventually. We were bluepilled back then, but at the same time I realized, hey help out a bro from now on if he needs ya. You'll never regret that. Relationshits end but brotherhood never fades.
[–]hanskywalk3r1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Do you keep up with any of her family still? I still occasionally hear from my ex's sister. I know she knows how good for her sister I was and everything I did. At least someone appreciates it
[–]artographic1 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I blocked them all on Facebook, and just never said a word after I just ghosted. I later saw her grandpa and aunt once in town and they said hi and asked how I was and that was it pretty much. Never said anything about the ex at all. I dont know I just couldn't keep up with them. I felt it was time to let it go ever since I found out her mom lied to me and is honestly the real one responsible for me dating a damaged broken woman. Since it was all her horrible choices and not taking the time to raise her daughter. She honestly told me one night when I was still dating my ex. "I really dont know my own daughter, you know her better than I do now." Fucked up isnt it?

"I love you, but I'm not IN love with you"
-Said every single bitch cunt that lacked heart, empathy, honor and most importantly - love.
My ex said I love you just not romantically anymore. After lying to my face for a week saying how she felt had nothing to do with me dont worry about it, then throwing it up on me at the end of the week that it did.
Thats what annoyed the hell out of me about that, rather than telling me honestly well I'm feeling distant and trying to "solve" that like two functional adults she rather bury it and then bring it up when its convenient. Aka an excuse to monkey branch.
It was in that moment I realized a woman's understanding of love is very skewed and love to them is how it "fits" for them. It's a very selfish perspective, and not at all what love is supposed to be.

This. When it comes to awalt shit, women just make shit up or overexagerate traits to escape responsibility.
Ex: If a nice guy and abuser plays video games just as much as the other. Women will say the nice guy is unattractive because he plays video games, then say the abuser is attractive because he plays video games.
She then goes on to complain about being abused to the nice guy later on.
Get it?
Always remember, women use words like men use there hands. She will say whatever will let her take hold of what she wants and avoid "dangerous" situations (aka taking responsibility).

kind of. women are habitual line steppers. they will take a man with the patience of a saint and toy with his emotional state until he snaps and goes ballistic, then tell everyone he was just pretending to be a good guy. if you draw a line they will dance all over it just to see what you do. if you capitulate then you are a wuss if you stand firm you are a jerk. the winning move is not to play at all.
[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
That's what shit tests are for. The more you fail, the more they can rationalise leaving and twist your failures into somehow being "abusive". If there are no problems you can guarantee women will make some up in their head.

I had been doing this but not the texting and once a week meeting, and realized that's how I always fell into the slippery slope of relationships.
If you hangout with the girl every day you'll wind up getting your feelings manipulated no matter how red pilled you are. False. They hate good guys, because they feel attracted to bad/violent men and also enjoy the drama.
Dont forget nice guys and the bluepill are the reason societies ultimately fail, because they are the biggest enablers of bad behavior from women.
The bad man are bad only from our standards. In nature, a bad man ultimately is free and a survivor.
Ultimately, women dont want their offspring to inherit the genes of men who work, are honest, and pay taxes. Because they rather have the kids from a violent dangerous man that risks everything for a chance at success, than a nice man who is submissive to the system, plays along, and is basically a slave.

I think it plays into their need for victim drama. They want to gossip about problems, real or not, for attention, sympathy and support. Some would keep beta orbiters for money, time, car rides to places or just for attention. If their phone is going crazy all the time then they are entertained and feel interesting, wanted and attractive. A good man is one source of all these things but doesn't allow her to gossip to her friends about you.
If can't complain then she can't get sympathy or attention. One man cannot light her phone up all the time, and no one supports a woman who is fully supported and catered for by a good guy. If she cheats on the good guy, people will not support her cheating.
The badder the guy, the more attention, drama, support and freedom to cheat she has.

A good man is also a mirror of her soul. When a guy is noble and the woman is not, there are no excuses. She has to stare at her moral failings and shitty behavior. As this looks a lot like accountability, she flees like a vampire or tried to destroy it.

That's funny...I distinctly remember one woman who was enraged because I was so nice to her she was feeling bad about treating me in a crappy manner...so naturally it was "my fault" for making her feel this way. But she was the one who chose to behave in such an atrocious manner, and she was the one who was responsible for her own feelings...but....somehow it was "my fault"....and that was just a platonic relationship that ended badly (her doing: not mine). But I was very young, I didn't understand any of it...it was very confusing to me at that time. Now I know women better than when I was young. I know how their minds operate and the disconnect between what they publicly say they want and what they actually want on a subconscious level, and how they resolve this conflict by shifting blame and rage on the man in question, followed by rationalization for piss poor behavior on their part.
Honestly I realized either tell the bitch (if she's acting retarded) she's dumb or don't associate. With her.
[–]charvo3 points4 points5 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Nice guys used to be more highly valued because women were living in an age of scarcity rather than the abundance we generally have in the West. Women want the CC because it is exciting. What was needed from men in the past is not the same as is needed from men now. Decadence in society leads to moral degradation of females. That is quite evident. Parental abdication of responsibility in the upbringing of their daughters have led to women picking the bad guy and wanting the excitement. The decline of the West has led to many nice guys going MGTOW because it is really the only option unless you want to deal with the threat of divorce rape. My cousin divorce raped her husband of 25 years. He was a nice guy. She's going to go back to her bad boy boyfriend when she was younger. Game over for the husband.

Not really accurate. Even the best of guys will not be described as "good" by a woman who wants to walk out on him, because he she will twist reality and find a way to malign him. One of the common ones is "neglects me emotionally", which is so vague and subjective as to mean literally anything, including not calling every day and not responding fast enough to texts.

Everyday you should be surfing, hunting, rock climbing, closing that big real estate deal, operating a food truck, hitting the gym, doing a verse on your buddy's mix tape, building a boat, playing in a band, looking for a bigger house and meeting her for happy hour.
STOP BEING BORING YOU CUCKS.

The guys are bored? Chuck needs to learn how to make proper sentence structure to avoid ambiguity.

To be fair nobody needs a reason to leave a relationship legit or not
[–]Grant14121 point2 points3 points 6 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
No, you don't need a reason to break a commitment. But the consequences to the other person involved will then be your fault and responsibility, even if you ignore those consequences and you are the sort who is not affected by them.

You don't need a reason to leave. Pathetic

You don’t “need” anything.most people do. People are entitled to do whatever they want. Generally there is some sort of reason though.
