This has always bothered me, actually. Superman is literally god to everybody on earth, at least to the non meta-humans. Lois lane is a nobody in the grand scheme of things but betamax supes here kowtows to her whims and in what, superman 1,000,000 he comes out of the sun and resurrects his waifu?

Superman shouldn't be capable of having sex with a human woman under normal circumstances. See the essay "Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex" for more details. Superman would either be shrinking down to bang bitches inside the bottled city of Kandor which still holds upward of a million Kryptonians or somewhat less likely he would be banging his chronologically older but biologically less mature cousin.

Superman and Wonder Woman are often portrayed as having a relationship but that has always been ridiculous. From a cultural standpoint Wonder Woman would likely have little respect for or interest in Superman. Wonder Woman would likely be a lesbian or pair up with Batman. Wonder Woman would have no issues having sex with a normal man because she is rendered a super power-less submissive when her hands are bound together. She doesn't even need to be bound with anything in particular, just plain old rope will do.

Superman has been poorly portrayed in most media for a long time now. He should be about as well muscled as someone who sits on their ass doing nothing all day. He's not strong because he works out, he's strong because he's an alien from another world. His suit shouldn't fit him perfectly nor should it be particularly well made. His adoptive mother made it for him out of Kryptonian blankets. It should be about as good as a Superman halloween costume that an average mother could make for her kid.

Most importantly, Lois has been portrayed as a horrible bitch since her character first appeared. There's no reason at all for Superman to take any particular interest in her or be attracted to her. Lois immediately fell madly in love with Superman but constantly derided and abused Clark Kent. That might make sense in the context of modern reinterpretations of Clark Kent/Superman but it just makes Lois look like even more of an insufferable cunt in the original context.

You are all familiar with Clark Kent being portrayed as weak, meek, or cowardly so as to draw any suspicion away from him potentially being Superman. Originally Clark Kent was a badass, take-charge motherfucker. In just the first few storylines of the radio serial Clark Kent thwarts multiple terrorist plots, saves hundreds if not thousands of lives, steals an airplane, and deliberately crashes that airplane into another airplane mid air. Instead of trying to discourage people from thinking Clark Kent was Superman he actively concealed the existence of Superman going so far as to threaten to kill people if they ever said anything. Being mild-mannered means that you aren't prone to emotional outbursts or extremes. When you're mild-mannered nothing rustles your jimmies and you're not overly concerned about things. In short being mild-mannered is synonymous with not giving a fuck.

Lois ignores the extremely alpha Clark Kent because she caught a glimpse of a man in a colorful costume that can leap tall buildings and bend steel with his bare hands even though nobody else even thinks such a man exists. In the original continuity multiple people are institutionalized for claiming that they saw Superman.

Having read lots of comics, every superhero's girl is a annoying awalt. They all nag the hero because he spends too much time saving the world from annihilation and doesn't pay enough attention to her. I've never once envied any superhero's relationships. Only their abilities

They "love" you for what you could be, not what/who you are. There's a constant mission to change you to fit their whims. When you dont meet those requirements, its your fault and when you do, they have broken the horse and move on, as the challenge is gone.
