I wasn't saying that everyone in MTGOW is a sex addict and someone would have be a moron to believe that is possible. The conversation speaks for itself, Cathy.
Consider how it looks to people looking in from outside. I consider myself an MGTOW and I think the question of why women are a central talking point here is fair. Look at the content that gets massively upvoted - memes and double edged satirical observations with underlying truth bombs that are often easily misinterpreted as contempt (although much of it actually is red pill rage). Most of it pointing fingers at women, or at least with women as the subject. I can’t remember the last time I saw a quality post here that didn’t mention women and I’m here every day.
That being said, I can understand how users equate the core subject matter (women) and MGTOW to a disorder or illness and rehab/ therapy. However, I think this is a rationalization that undermines not only the breadth of the fundamental concepts of MGTOW, but the credibility and quality of the community as a whole. The importance of women as a focus point in the journey of becoming red-pilled is vastly overestimated here and I feel that the community can do better.
It’s much bigger than women. Anything you can learn here relating to women has been regurgitated in so many different ways. The overall awareness that comes with being truly red-pilled includes women only as a small slice of an enormous pie filled with a bunch of other shit that’s way more constructive and worth our attention as a community.
