I think if your leasing a new car every year or two it may out weigh the time of trying to resell every year. Especially for higher end vehicles it can be harder to sell.
If your driving camrys and shit though just buy it.

smartest is buy a 3 yr old low mileage used vehicle and keep for 5 or 6 yrs but jettison before too much mileage requiring the more expensive maintenance issues

It was good times. Id be driving on the free way and guys would blow their horns and give me a fist bump. I did very rarely have girls leave their numbers on my windshield despite them having no idea what I looked like.
The funniest time was some simp wrote this love letter telling me to hit him up. I guess he thought I was a woman. Yea a woman driving a Mustang, but ok.
