Why does who is paying for it matter? How many of them pay for the trips themselves? Seems like an important statistic to know up front before starting to wonder who else pays for the trips in any cases when the woman isn't the one paying. But, let's say the women's male partners pay for all of the trips, that's a choice those men are making and it's their right to make that choice or to choose not to pay. You blame one person for the actions of someone else? Blame the woman for the man financing her trip in your scenario?

Mine dragged out school and job searching for years. When I pressured her to work and give me money to help with Bill's, she'd throw fits and be a general cunt. This went on long enough that I was just fed up.
One day she came at me with a long note saying she had to get out/ divorce, etc. She starts sniffling and wanted to go to a coffee shop to talk.
"Fuck that. You stopped doing things with me years ago. Now you want me to sit in a coffee shop with you? Nope."
Then the speech about how shitty I've been, etc. She has to leave, etc. I'd have our daughter over 50%, etc.
"Fine. You move out, I'll take care of our kid, as I've been doing for a decade now anyway, and I dont have to live with you. PERFECT!!!!"
I was honestly happy.
Once she realized I wasn't in panic mode, she knew she had fucked up. All of a sudden she's working two jobs, handing me all but her tips every week and doesn't dare spend a fucking penny with my money unless it's on groceries.
She's realized how shitty her life was living in a government subsidized apartment in her Asian country working 60-70 hours a week. If she bitches about anything I just let her know she was supposed to have moved out almost a year ago and I'm still waiting.

Thank you for this. Nice to see someone clearly elaborate enough to make it clear that this entire group is made up of men who are playing the victim and the villain in their own life. You just aren't man enough to take responsibility for your own situation so you blame someone else. If we assume this entire story is a 100% accurate representation, it is obvious that if she left you or you left her, you'd both take the necessary steps to begin new relationships that resembled the current relationship as much as possible.

I've learned very quickly from the replies I get here that the issue is very much connected to some skewed idea about personal responsibility. Your reply shows it clearly. And the fact that numerous others try and say that I must just be some submissive conformist if I don't agree with this group's view of the world and views about gender. That was the best thing about her. She didn't spend much, and she didn't ask me to spend much. In all honesty, she wasn't that bad compared to what else is out there

My ex told her boss that she didnt respect him, got fired and laid around and watched netflix from the time I left the house, until the time I got back from work (12 hour shifts, 1 hour commute each way). So for 14 hours, she did nothing. She said we would be okay because we can survive off of my paycheck. I asked her about saving money- 'we can do that later.'
After 2 months, I told her she either comes up with her half of the money or she's out of the house. I wasn't going to run a homeless shelter. I was talking to my parents one night on the phone, and she starts screaming to them that she is afraid that I was going to kill her (I'm a gentle giant, I'd rather not hit people). My parents told her that she was full of shit- that calmed her right down.
Then she wanted me to apologize for being a monster, when all I did was assert myself. I told her that she had until midnight and that I did not want to see her ever again. Funny thing- she didnt block me on FB, and I saw that she went into a relationship to put a roof over her head. 2 months later, her place burned to the ground
