Slander is a form of spoken defamation. While not a crime, it should be if it results in criminal prosecution for the wrongly accused. Technically it's a "tort," which means a civil wrong.

You can sue but the person with the most money wins. You know, our legal system. This same system that assumes the automatic guilt of men in family court.

I have the name of a female cleaner who at work tried to do a METOO on me as a way of taking revenge for catching her not doing her duties and having to report her to her bosses. She accused me of sexual harassment because I showed her a video I was watching in my phone and laughing about. The video had nothing to do with sex but addiction to cocaine. The cleaner want to know what it was about so I had to explain to her why the joke could be easily modified to appear sexual. She laughed and left it like that. What I did not know was that she was going to use that many months later to try to destroy me. Fortunately she failed but she deserves to be on a register with all sex offenders.

What to do in situations where she isn’t lying but the evidence goes against her? Suppose the same thing happens to men who are imprisoned. Could it not also be argued that fear of going to jail if they lose would dissuade women from 1) coming forward 2) withdrawing when they realise they’re about to ruin someone’s life
