Im always amazed at the person who can go to a garage sale and find a treasure that the owner does not know the value of and buy it for 2 bucks. Later sell it for 20,000. I could never take advantage of a person like that. I'd be like "Hey, do you know this dirty old rock is actually a meteorite thats worth a fortune?" Let me sell it for you and split the profit 50/50. Of course if I found something like that at a thrift store I'll take it. But I couldnt look the person in the eye and take advantage of them. But some people would have absolutley no problem and not a second thought about it.

I was force fed this bitter pill when my first marriage went bust. I was dumbstruck how quickly and easily she moved on to another man. One day she whispered “I love you” in my ear. The next day it was like I never existed. Everything she said, everything she did, was a lie. And there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. She even went so far as to tell mutual friends that I was abusing her. That was the worst time of my life. My car overheated and blew out the head gasket, I lost my job, I got an eviction notice from my landlord, and my wife left me for another man. Everything that I worked for, everything I had built, everything I thought I could count on, all gone in a matter of a couple weeks. I nearly killed myself.

Very true. Only person to care is yourself. Always listen to your own advice first because it's the only advice that has your own well being in mind. Everyone else just wants something from you and will tell you what they think you want to hear in order to get it. Stay true to yourself, live only for yourself, don't depend on someone else for your own identity and happiness.
