We do regulate men. If a man impregnates a woman, he can be aggressively pursued for child support. Unpaid child support is one of the few debts that will get you imprisoned for non-payment. It will get your passport revoked; your professional licenses suspended; and probably other draconian measures imposed.

All of these measures can and will be imposed even if the man is tricked or defrauded into impregnating the woman. Even if she rapes him.

There is no other obligation in the Western world which is enforced so aggressively; so mercilessly; and with so little regard for fundamental fairness.

It’s not about regulating either sex. It’s about protecting innocent life. When does human life begin? Conception? 1st trimester? Second? Third? Birth? Until this is answered the rest doesn’t matter.

This is nonsense.

We do regulate men whom impregnate women irresponsibly (blame, shame, financial costs and even jail time).

But in these end, that has little to no effect.

Why?

Because women are the gatekeepers of sex, not men. Aka Women pick who they sleep with, not men...Women have all the birth control options, not men.

To be clear, if 90% of men became good men, it wouldn't matter if women kept chasing and getting impregnated by bad boys.

That is why slut shaming is a thing and why single-motherhood (since we stopped slut shaming) has spiked despite society constantly doubling down on deadbeat hate.

TLDR: because slut shaming works, manwhore shaming doesn't work.

Because the conversation isn't about the women or regulating the women, it's about the life. In order to justify abortion as something other then murder, you have to pick a point where there is life, and the only definition I have found that isn't one of convenience is at conception. But really I dont give a damn, so long as they acknowledge and accept they are murdering someone instead of lying to themself about it I dont really care

While being factually correct it actually brings nothing of relevance to the abortion argument. All 202 people in the scenario are capable of preventing pregnancy all 202 are capable of being responsible adults and having accountability, regardless if they are male or female.

Men are already regulated. 100 children from other "random" women would also mean 100 child support pay cheques.

Let's spin this, If a woman can choose to bring to term or end a pregnancy, yet a man has no say in it, why do we regulate men's wallets when women choose to have the child?
