The article is a complain-piece bemoaning the plight of trans women who must endure the impossible hardship of, wait for it, straight men finding them attractive. That's right, nevermind the fact that last month we published an article that said if straight men aren't attracted to transwomen then they are transphobic, because today we're going to tell you about how if straight men are attracted to transwomen then they are chasers. And that's even worse. Somehow.

I’m going to go against the grain here. I’ve known several trans people over the years, both mtf and ftm, and they all wished the “activists” would just shut up and go away. They want to live their lives as the gender they identify as, not be shoved into a “community” and not be outed against their wishes. They are also wary of people who are attracted to them BECAUSE they’re trans. They don’t want to be fetishized and they sure don’t want to be put on display as some sort of “trophy”.

There has been a push among some LGBT “communities” to “drop the t” and I think most trans people would be just fine with that. In recent years LGB groups have been all about “pride”, drawing attention to themselves with ever increasingly outrageous, “in your face” behavior which is the opposite of what the trans “community” wants and which will ultimately do harm to all involved. Flying under the radar is fundamentally incompatible with outlandish, attention whoring behavior that borders on the absurd. Promoting child drag queen shows and strutting around in costumes made of multi colored dildoes is a way to make the general public hate you, not stand beside you when the going gets tough. Too bad so few of the “activists” understand this.
