So true. Even when I have a green light (while I’m in a car), or a walk signal (while I’m on foot), I take NOTHING for granted. Seen too much crazy shit happen in the city. Too many people in one area is never good.

Quotes like this can be deceiving, because knowing Hollywood actors, he doesn't have faith in humanity because he cries every night due to Humanity voting Trump into office, or because he's seen how "the industry has treated women and it's about time for metoo".

So while it's a nice quote, don't judge it by who's necessarily saying it unless you agree with his exact sentiments.

Reminds of the tip i scraped a guy with my car, for some godforsaken he only looked one way why before sprinting across a four lane road. Had my reflexes not been fast enough I probably would've killed him...

I was hit by a car on a one way street. I looked the direction of traffic and saw nothing.....a split second later I was on top of taxi cab’s trunk wondering “How the f*** did this happen?” I was fine other than a bruise on my arm and hip.

The taxi was driving backwards down the one way street.

This was in Santiago Chile.

I live in a city with a decent amount of one way streets and its pretty much a promise that I will see someone going the wrong way at least twice a week.

That's only what I can bare witness to, I'm sure it happens every day.
