There is no purpose to nature beyond replication and the infinite patterns of creation we see play out through all aspects of the universe.

That being said - it sounds like you might be in a rut. As your attorney, I advise you to challenge yourself and/or seek inspiration. Stir all that shit up in your mind with a stick, cut away the fat, get rid of all those boundaries in your mind that aren't even yours by incident or choice. Have you ever tried magic mushrooms or LSD? Maybe that would be a good place to start, provided you are not living in a lot of fear and anxiety, and are willing to let your ego and beliefs go, a least for a few moments.

This is the truest statement I have come across. I have a couple of others which hit home as well, but will provide you with this. (also realize that I too am not creative, have no business, work my ass off to survive, cannot have children, and am also afraid of ending up eating catfood and then I die some horrible, uncomfortable death. It's not an uncommon fear or situation.

Lots of famous men have left incredible inventions, discoveries, and institutions that have endeared throughout the millennia. Their descendants (if there are any) are just random jackasses. They will die and be forgotten. George Washington never had kids. Lincoln had no direct descendants. The Wright Brothers were lifelong MGTOWs.

Is there something that makes you happy? Then do it or get it. Simple.

If that something in particular, requires money, or time, then make and spend that money and dedicate time into it. Many men still sacrifice all their money and time to afford other people's happiness (women/kids) to the detriment of themselves, while thinking thats the right thing to do. Wake up.

There is no purpose; for anything. Sun rises, Seasons go by, and we get old. Life's purpose is itself. This moment is its own purpose, in every moment it is fulfilled within itself. Because it is always now. This may sound trite, but it's the truth. Do not seek purpose. Dedicate yourself to a greater cause, if you want to feel useful to the world. But as I see it, nature is against men (or, males in general), and as its extension, this society do not care about our well-being. So I seek fullfilment in exploring my limits. Through martial arts, music, arts, meditation- anything that will push you to your limits, engage in them, and if you can do it by yourself, even better. Learn to sit still for atleast 10 minutes a day, eyes closed, and explore your mind. see what it shows you, and if you don't like what it shows you, inspect where those things came into your mind from, since everything in mind is picked up from outside. And once you find the sources, cut them out of your life. Repeat, until your mind no longer seeks purpose.

Just practice self actualization. Purpose is illusion. You seem to enjoy my posts about taoist and Buddhist sages and masters. They didn't care for social title or purpose. They looked within and discovered what most people don't have the patience or courage to look into. And then they in turn became figures who helped many others up until now.

Try sitting for an hour. Try sitting for 3 or for a day or a month. It'll be painful. The urge to do something or be someone. I'm not saying I am able to do it either but it does intrigue me. We spend so much time rushing to make this dream something instead of turning inwardly to see whose dreaming.

How should I define my goals? My life

You have to create your purpose in life. All goals are made up, to be quite honest. We are all only around for 70-80 years on this 3rd rock from the Sun then we are gone. You have to invest meaning and purpose into life. I had a vasectomy 2 weeks ago and I am child free for life by choice. One thing that might help you find your life's purpose, I think, is think back to your natural inclinations/interests as a child, I'd say, when you were around age 8-11.

I would recommend consulting your spirit. You may not agree, but one day we will die, and divide, and live on in a different way, in a different "dimension". You may find it useful to train yourself in ancient knowledge pertaining to spirituality, as well as entering altered states of consciousness. Best to get ahead while the going is good. We may not know what waits on the other side.

It's hard as animals (which we are) to comprehend any existence outside of procreation, until you really break down what procreation actually means. When you look at the whole process objectively - you start to realise how utterly stupid it is to centre your life around the act of sticking your dick into meat flaps. How is that an existence? If you're seeking companionship, you can create meaning through your investment of time into causes that help people or participating in any group or culture that interests you. There are a lot of people in this world that have more than enough things to do without having ever procreated.

What you do with your life is yours to decide.

Life is effectively an emergent property of the universe. Looking back to find a greater meaning has only shown us where we came from, but not of any greater purpose. To look forward you're just going to have to make your own purpose.

You know, I could write thousands upon thousands of words trying to answer your question of what the point is, but I think it would be more honest of me to tell you that I often still ask myself the same questions even though I've reassured myself with the thought to simply make the best of things.

So know this. You're not as alone as you might think. As noble as the effort to go your own way is, the fact that communities like this exist reflects that we still need each other. All we can do is keep trying to figure things out and pool our thoughts and ideas.

Try to keep expanding your horizons and your way of thinking. Often it is the limits we put on ourselves that hold us back from our potential, not so much the external.

You're purpose will be whatever you want it to. If you are choosing to to have kids that's your choice but you can have kids if you choose to. You could just get a surrogate pay them 20-30k and just make them have the child when it's over you take it and raise it since it will be yours. If that isn't something you want to do live life to the fullest explore,create, destroy or don't do any of it the choice is yours.

Who defines "creative"? Other people? What do you need to be a "business owner"? One of China's most wealthy billionaire's business is....trash collection and recycling.

You don't need to be invested in these labels. You can be boring, old, you. I'm sure you have interests. You have permission to enjoy your interests. They need not be fancy or expensive. Just genuinely your own interests.

Also, the whole "purpose in life" thing is dubious. What is the goal of having a goal? Maybe it suits Capitalism's goals to have productive (read, enslaved) workers with Goals. Maybe quarter-on-quarter profits needs caffeine-buzzed workers to keep putting in 10 hours a day, saving up towards goals such as a huge house or that fancy new car. In reality, without all these attachments, it's perfectly fine to have no goal. Most real world people want money to just laze anyway, i.e., the freedom we seeks is actually the freedom from goals.

In cold brutal reality "you" have no "purpose" beyond propagation of the species.

Why go on?

Because you can, because you have a life, because right now somewhere in the world there's someone dying who would sell their soul to not be dying.

Im a Christian so I pray and read the Bible daily and seek God and try to do what He wants me to do. Im not trying to sound like a good person because im not. Im ashamed to admit I'm the worst Christian I've ever even heard of. But God's told me many times through the years that I'm saved so I'm hanging in here. After i knew that He was real i started wondering if He was really good and one day a long time ago He told me He was so I trust Him and try to serve. So that's my purpose in life. I think we're going to go through some pretty horrendous times in the near future but when it's over there'll be 1000 years plus of life on this planet as it was always meant to be and its going to be pretty excellent. So if you seek God maybe you'll find Him. He says if you draw close to Him He'll draw close to you. But tbh I can be a pretty hardcore person and I believe thats why I've gotten the results I have that most Christians don't.
