Getting cheated on. I didn't care about the gf, I got rid of her immediately, but I found having a serious relationship with a woman was impossible and I could feel my sanity slipping. I didn't want to spend my life wondering what my wife or gf was doing when they weren't returning my phone calls, how money was being spent, what I was legally on the hook for that was out of my control. It's not for me. I've been completely satisfied since putting women in a different place in my personal life. I can work and play with them just fine, but that's it. Looking back on it, honestly I have no idea why I thought a ltr would be a good idea. Control and freedom have always been the most important things to me and a ltr is the opposite of this. My story had a happy ending.

Cheated on while deployed, then the eyes opened up after being shut for a long time. All the red flags went off. Now its just the realization that the feminine psyche is bombarded with entitlement. Every detail in movies, tv, advertising and society has a subtle hint of "get a wife, have kids and be a wage slave. Mgtows are miserable and weird!" Havent gotten past the anger phase but still truckin along and its reinforced every day. Every married man I see is absolutely miserable and I realize that I used to be pne of those guys. I'm thankful for being free and not having alimony or kids. Dodged a huge bullet.

The tipping point for me was finding that the majority of attractive women I dated might as well have been interchangeable. They were vapid, self-obsessed, constantly seeking validation/attention- I could go on but you've already seen it yourselves.

After having that same experience time and again it was clear that the effort to maintain/improve my SMV wasn't worth the sex I was getting out of it, and the sex was usually their only redeeming quality. I finally realized the juice wasn't worth the squeeze.

Seeing that as I got older my selection of women got worse. So much worse. Sure, the 20 year old was annoying but if she had a great ass it was tolerable. Older women are just piss and vinegar on top of cellulite.

I've always known that I didn't really want kids and marriage was always kinda meh to me. Never dated a lot, didn't care to as I watched my friends deal with bullshit all the time. I've honestly only found a handful of women to be worth any time in my life.

Then about 10 years ago I worked with a girl that was cool and could actually hold a conversation with her. Turned out she was one of the bad ones. Fortunately I saw the signs early on and put a full stop on even the friendship for the most part. She was smart enough she knew what she was doing too. That was pretty much the end of it.

For me it was a build up but the last date i went on with a girl from a dating site is what did it for me. She basically used me for a free ride from the train station to her house. However she didnt tell me she needed to go home until half way through dinner as we were planning to go into town to get a drink. Her reasoning: "I didn't want to say anything while on the train, because i was afraid you would think i didn't want to hang out. " She was on her phone the entire time as well. I knew it was a mistake when i waited a fucking week before meeting up. Usually i would go on a date after about 2 to 3 days, but i'm done with it all. Fuck women and fuck their entitled asses. I'm 25 and i have more important things to worry about like learning to code so i can get a better job. These cunts can have all the cats in the world for all i care.

We were "arguing" about a wall on the border and how I believed we should have one. I kept defending my opinion until the point where she told me I should go across the border if I wanted to stop cartels and end up dying (or something like that).

It was that moment where MGTOW became a real ground of understanding for me. I have been hurt many times by females and this was the first of two that had me truly put my foot down before calling it off.
