This is what national defense is all about: protecting the homeland from all enemies, foreign AND domestic, fighting for freedom and our way of life. And yet people still aren't happy.

How many times have people bemoaned our troops going overseas to fight in wars that have no meaning to them? Where is the "fighting for freedom" over there when the people we're protecting are here at home? Now we finally have a local fight that matters.

Those guys are just speedbumps in camo. I don't see a single weapon. Their rules of engagement probably prohibit them from even defending themselves.

I was in the Guard for 15.5 years after 4.5 years active. Unless this was an "involuntary" deployment, there is no way you would have seen me do the same.

Let them burn their nests down. If there's one thing the farcical p(l)andemic has shown is that the technology is now there for most people to telecommute.

Why buy expensive office real estate in an urban setting? Instead build a commercial pole building in the country outside of the public transportation ring. No traffic, reduced security costs, lower insurance premiums, better quality of life for employees.

My mom cheated and divorced my dad after 7 years in the army and he was discharged 2 kids. He had no retirement. Years later he went back and became a col. Then retired. She is so jealous and thinks she is entitled to like 25k a year. She also robbed my grandfathers estate to the tune of almost half million we are guessing. Squandered it all still 10yrs later complains she didnt sell his house for enough! Fucking grandpa wanted me to have that house. I would have been 23 had a house with brand new siding roof and driveway and never made a payment my whole life.

I thought the same thing yesterday when they had 2 hummers and 8 guys guarding a Walgreens in a wealthy suburb. At least I could see Walgreens being a target for pill heads but I can’t imagine why Cheesecake Factory would need guarding.
