Why does MGTOW recommend Military?

MGTOW doesn't recommend anything. MGTOW make their own recommendations.

Not everyone has that option. I grew up in the US in a single mother household with two siblings. We were very poor, and at 18 my opportunities in life were very limited. I didn't have someone to guide me, help me, or show me how to change my situation. I had to do something to give me a better shot in life. Joining the Army was one of the best decisions that I made for my future success. I suffered through a lot, but came out a man with a lot better understanding of the world. My opportunities in life after the Army were significantly better. There are numerous benefits to being a veteran in the US, and I landed a high paying job a few years after I got out. I make more money than I ever thought that I could.

I think the military is a good option for people who need a shot at changing their lot in life. They'll gain friends, life experiences, and skills that they'll carry with them for the rest of their lives. I agree that fighting for a society that hates you is not necessarily MGTOW. However it is a means to an end that can greatly benefit some people.

In the US, joining the military can be lucrative. Free college is the most obvious. Plus if you play things right, move up the ranks and retire after 20 years with an awesome pension. I know several people who did that and started a new career in their early 40s, making a good living from that and collection the military pension.

Of course the downside is someone may shoot at you in a 3rd world shithole, lol. Try to get in as a mechanic or something like that, as opposed to being on the front lines. ROTC is another option.

I wouldn't recommend it. I am glad I joined and thankful for the opportunities it provided me. However, 10 years ago when I left, it was exactly the same as working for a big corporation, but you cant quit.

I took the army scholarship for medical school so I don't owe 400k in loans. Plus my 4 year commitment after residency will guarantee me a job in the private sector when I'm out.

Personally, the Army was a rite of passage for me. It was more of a male space 23 years ago. I wouldn't recommend it now because we live in a time where exclusively male traditions are under attack.

If the military isn't your thing I recommend the oil and gas industry too. You work so much you don't have time to spend the money you are raking in, unless you do retarded shit on your time off. Bank it for 5 to 25 years and take it easy.

All I can say is that if you join the military don’t expect it to be any different in regards to male female dynamics. The military is cucked through and through and you will face never ending classes and talk about sexual harassment and everything relating to equality. But if you can eek it out for 4 years and get your college paid for then go study overseas for free for 4 years then it could work to your benefit.
