I feel ya. I, too, often wonder if my daily dose of the gender wars is a net positive in my life now that I've moved past the anger phase. This place has been a huge positive influence on me, so I try to give back, even if my contributions are very minimal. Plus I enjoy me some snark.

I've come to similar conclusions however I always come back to "keep updated". Not as frequently, usually twice to four times a month. Obsessing is bad, but I found that naturally my brain starts leaning towards the blue pill if I don't remind every once in a while about the red pill. Maybe this is not your case but from an evolutionary biology perspective it makes the most sense, men have known this truths for millenia but those who followed the red pill usually left no descendants and had no one to teach their findings so that knowledge simple faded away many times through history. So the natural tendency for all of us is to be bluepilled, the brain is not static nor it's programmable like a computer, you can set rules but those are maleable and your brain will "selectively forget" rules that keep you from spreading your genes. You can feel the red pill rage in the night yet wake up after a good sleep and feel a "newfound love" for women and ultimately ask yourself "were they really that bad? they seem nice...", and that's when you need to get a little dose of redpill again.

the cool thing about mgtow is that once you "get it" (understand women, gynocetrism, hypergamy, etc etc.) there is no need to stay in the community. You have all the knowledge you will ever need, and you can just go your own way. You dont need to watch youtube videos and be involved in forums everyday and stay current on the latest "mgtow trends". We've seen this with alot of "famous" mgtow philosophers on youtube, who all of a sudden just disappear and truly go their own way.

plus, the mgtow community will always be here for u if u ever wish to come back. there will surely be new developments and and discoveries, things are always evolving, nothing is constant. but in my opinion, things are just going to steadily get worse and worse when it coems to laws, and women and relationships, and I myself have been considering just going my own way, because its very draining seeing all the negative things going on. and being constantly reminded of how fucked up everything has become.

I've been taking a break for while as well, for two reasons:

There's rarely any new information. I know red pill truths by heart at this point, they don't need reinforcement.
It has a negative effect on my mood. I'd rather get positive experiences from hobbies than refresh the same negative and spiteful information over and over. I do keep up with certain key members' comments that I like.
