The business I work for hired 3 single mothers in the past 6 months for our customer service department. All of them miss work at least once a week, sometimes for a legitmate reason ( one had a surgery and was out for a week, etc.), and sometimes for bullshit reasons. Not one week in 6 months have all three been in for their scheduled shifts for an entire week. We actually had to hire the third one because the other two were constantly absent and low and behold she does the same thing.

Today one of them didnt show up because she is waiting for someone to jump start their car for her. She is already 3 hours late at the time I am writing this. She lives in an urban area so I dont understand how she cant find someone to give her a jump start. She is literally waiting for a man ( bf or dad, whichever can leave work for her the soonest) to show up with jumper cables and do it for her.

They also get a monthly bonus for things that are just expected from me and the employees that i supervise ( not using cell phones at work, punching in and out every day, not missing work, etc.) It is so frustrating because me and my employees rely on them to make contact with our customers and get all of the pertinent information while we take care of everything else. I went to ask one of them to contact a customer to verify their shipping information yesterday and this dipshit has headphones in watching netflix at her desk. It is kinda difficult to answer the phone with headphones on. I said something to her manager about it and she brushed me off. Oh i forgot to mention that their manager was a single mother at their age as well. So she does nothing to curb this nonsense behavior, and basically encourages it because the only thing that happens is that they lose a bonus that they didn't deserve in the first place.

Today might be the day i just say fuck it and leave. I also would like to add that if a male employee was doing the same thing I would be just as frustrated by it because that is a shameful way to act in general. It just so happens that thots are a self fulfilling prophecy, they act in a useless manner, and then get mad when they are treated like they are useless. Sorry for the rant but i needed to vent in some way.
