Yep. My childhood wasn't the best (but it wasn't horrible either). Taught me early on to do things alone by myself and it's just how I grew up. I find tons of ways to entertain myself. I guess the highlight of 2016 was buying a motorcycle and learning to ride. Being at peace with yourself is a good life skill to have, because others usually tend to let you down.

I'd argue that even though you find it easy to judge men like that, you can't know what it's like unless you've transitioned from one to the other. If you (or anyone else reading this) has made the transition - what actions did you take?

I had a discussion along these lines with someone on here not too long ago. Ended up with her not even getting the idea that I could be happy single, let alone I prefer it that way. Ended up, since I didn't bow to her ultimate wisdom about what is better for my life, I get called an ass and told to be happy with my hand. Hell...it works for me, cause I'm at my river camp, drinking beer and running trot links all night. How is having a woman required to be happy?

True. 99.9% of men today would probably jump off a bridge if you tell them they can't change their child's diaper or play catch with them. They would also lunge at your throat if you said to them that as a father, you didn't actually need to do so if you didn't want to. These kind of men have the best and fleshiest asses primed for divorce court because they are so needy and vulnerable. Just how women and the state like it.

I couldn't disagree more with you to be honest. Everyone needs to be loved and almost all people want to be loved since being loved means someone respects you and you can actually count on someone. It gets you validation and keeps you sane since you know for a fact that you can trust in some people and not everyone is fucked up scumbag who is trying to fuck you up and use you to further his/hers agenda.

What i can give you is that not everyone gets to get loved! There are no guarantees in this life and this situation is not an exception to the rule.

In general nothing is eternal and love is no exception so yes with time it will disappear but so will you and your need for love after some time its just life and there isn't anything that can be done about it.

Most of my blue pill friends clearly need their women more than the women need them. Some have actually said out loud cringeworthy things like: "But the man needs closeness," "Happy wife, happy life," "I need a soulmate," begged for their girlfriends to return sooner when they were away, sulked and chased for months and years after being dumped, etc.

The result? Zero respect, zero femininity when around them, constant nagging and whining. The guys respond by trying harder, committing more and thus making it much worse.

You'd be surprised how these harpies transform when around any strong, secure, masculine man. They get submissive and feminine, chatty and giggly, a joy to be around. It only happens when the man appreciates them instead of needing them. They need the man. It's more like a father-daughter relationship than the blue pill son-mother one.

I've tried to subtly educate the guys on these matters, they listen and sometimes agree, then run back to an ex who's dumped them twice with some grand gesture of love and commitment. Sigh.

Ehh, your argument is very rudimentary and poorly thought-out. Love is crucial and love is much more than a love for a female. Love is important.

But first you have to understand the nuance of love. Everyone is needy, and often that need is misguided, through the pursuit of money or pussy or work. But rarely ever is the target accurate or even healthy.

You DO rather need to be loved, and it's not brainwashing. Although, in many eastern philosophy, zen is described in the same way complete sociopathy might be. The breaking of ties to all material and emotional needs/wants.

My grandparents were married at 18, pushing 81 now, still goin. So, I dunno man. Part of me just thinks the social structures changed, female nature has always been the same, it's just not put in check anymore by stigma or anything, instead it's the opposite - women are encouraged to wreck families. So, what you're saying, in context with the times we live in, probably pretty accurate. I'm not gonna lie though, I am a bit envious of what my elders have - not always of course, there's fights and BS, but in general, they seem pretty happy having some there that actually cares about you instead of some stranger in a nursing home. EVEN STILL, my grandpa, ww2 fighter pilot, died alone in a nursing home long after my grandma died...so, no guarantees there. We all die alone anyways. Whatever.

I mean, you're right that you don't need to be loved. But if you have reasonable expectations and can share parts of your life with a woman who agrees to those expectations, love can be fun. Why deprive yourself just because so many others bought into the Disney bullshit?

Growing up, I recieved not a drop of affection from my parents. My father told me he liked me and my mother was too busy screaming, nagging, and bitching. I remember as a child being scared at night and wishing my father was there.

As I grew up I began to ask myself questions. Why? Why should I care about this so called affection? Did I need it? No. Why should I care? I don't. I don't care nor need it from parents or women. If anything, "needing" it only makes you weaker. More likely to get desperate and clingy.

I overcame that growing up. Now, I give no shits about being alone.

Any person builds up a certain number of personal interests, then instincts kick in trying to transmit this "configuration". And then sexuality kicks in.
