You will never find happiness externally, moments for sure but not true happiness. The only way to be truly happy is to look in, find hobbies, get a dog. This is the best time in life right now, you are free to do whatever you want, now think about what it is that makes you happy and do that.

You've been taught from day 1 of your life to seek validation from other people. When you can start giving yourself your own validation you will begin to enjoy an inner peace you never had.

Here are a few things to consider:

Give yourself permission to enjoy the little rewards you enjoy. Is that a cold beer on the deck after work each night? Renting a nice AirBNB within driving distance some 3-day weekend. A nice cigar. Whatever. But enjoy yourself. You no longer have to work and sacrifice for someone else.
Learn the Zen of Giving Zero F**ks. No one is going to live their lives exactly like you want to. So looking for them to approve of your decisions won't work. When you realize how much of a mess most people's lives are and yet they try and tell people how to live, you'll shake your head and laugh and wonder why you even cared in the first place. When people try to shame you or cajole you into doing something, it is almost always because it is against your own interests. They want you to sacrifice. That sacrifice can be as simple as validating their bad choices by joining them, or it can literally be to take from you. We are all just humans - no one else is above you or should have more importance to you than yourself. The 'SPI' in my username stands for 'Self-Prioritized Individual'. That doesn't mean selfish per se, it just means we are all on borrowed time, and I am not wasting any of my life jumping through hoops to please some random person at the expense of my happiness (or pocketbook). Once you shed the guilt of being happy and the crap they teach men that you should be sacrificing for others all the time, you will really start to enjoy life. You don't owe anyone else anything. We are all just going through this precious life we've been given. Don't let someone use words (just sounds on a human palette) to take control of your life and suck it's energy out for their benefit. It's in your power. They have no control over you that you don't give to them so they will pat you on the head.
Being alone is quite nice. I can think about deep subjects. I can walk around in my underwear. I can watch TV or listen to music when I want or have complete serenity/silence when I want. If I want companionship, I can have friends over. If you think about male friends, they are way better friends and way more chill to be around. Females are petty and cause drama and always playing mind games. If they didn;t make your pants tingle, you wouldn't spend any time with them b/c they don;t make good friends. Look at how they backstab each other. They do that to you too when you are not around.
If you want near constant companionship, consider getting a dog. They are pure love. The most loyal friend you will ever have.
Find things that interest you. It could be learning about crypto or history, it could be fitness or gardening, it could be finance and economics. Whatever.
Become as stable as possible. Pay off any debt. Build wealth. Save. Invest. NEVER borrow money. Never lend money. Right now , today, go lookup women plumbers in your area, how about women steam pipe fitters? See many women doing real work on construction sites? Not a huge amount in STEM either, mostly because they don't choose to go into it. Society today is not totally automated, when shit breaks someone has to go fix it and most of the time that person is a man, when shit needs to be built, mostly men that do it. All the hard shit that has to be done to keep civilization running, mostly done by men.
