I spent my late teens and most of my 20s sleeping around and dating multiple women. At first it was thrilling and intoxicating, then it felt like a way of proving to myself that I'm a higher tier guy, then it just became a dull routine that I indulged because it was all I knew.

Don't get me wrong, there were some great times: awesome dates, attractive women, great conversations, and a few relationships thrown in. I learned a lot about myself and learned how to meet women and go from not knowing a thing about them to knowing them intimately within a few dates.

The sad thing was after a lot of dates and a lot of hookups it just becomes same'ish. It become a dull monotony and you just go through the motions. I realised around 30 that I'd missed out on long term friendships because I was spending the majority of my free-time on dates. I'd also not truly followed my goals and dreams because I was spending 4 or 5 nights a week on dates and the other free time was on tinder or whatsapp flirting.

I'm not into MGTOW because I hate women. Far from it. I was actually raised by women. I'm interested in MGTOW solely because its a more focused way to not make our life focused on women; but rather on the focus on pursuing happiness and goals and not getting distracted by short term but mostly harmful pleasures.
