You really want a permanent solution?

So far, you haven’t been burnt. You have a chance not to be burnt but can’t find the motivation to do so. Even if you have multiple evidences against such behaviour.

So get burnt. I don’t owe you an ounce of motivation or discipline. That comes from yourself and your experiences.

A bunch of people telling you better will definitely fall on false ears because that’s what most people do.

When you’re burnt and done, we’ll welcome you with open arms.

I suggest that you 1) get a brick and duct tape your wallet and your cellphone to it and take it to the nearest lake. 2) Use the brick to pound yourself in the balls several times. 3) Throw the brick as far as you can into the lake, 4) Repeat step 3 using your car keys. Finally, walk home repeating "there are red flags everywhere, there are red flags everywhere, There are red flags everywhere..."

Sounds like you know what you are supposed to do but are delusional emotionally. Need motivation? Make it. Otherwise, some people just need to learn from the school of hard knocks, I know I did.

Been in that situation for 7 years with my highschool gf, one and off emotional manipulation and full on redroad let alone red flags.

Well it’s simple. You started off wrong by thinking of getting into a relationship with her in the first place. If there’s red flags and you’re having sex or whatever, just ride the wave and protect yourself because you know it’s going no where. I don’t advocate relationships at all because it’s going to end up unfair to the man overtime. You can keep her as a friend with benefits and focus on yourself or just break things off and block her contacts till you’re over it. But think rationally, if there’s smoke there is fire. Do not ignore the warning signs.
