I dont know. But I know that there is no such thing as free money. I think it's a recipe for raising inflation. Three years from now when a gallon of OJ is $10, I'll just know why.

I paid about $5000 in taxes for 2019 (Total Withheld - Refund = Actual Taxes Paid), so I look at it as me getting back $1200 of my own money. I’m also essentially covering the stimulus checks for 3 other people who paid no taxes last year, although I’m not naive enough to expect any gratitude for that.

It's bullshit.

Where is the money coming from? Either from a stockpile of tax dollars or from inflation (taxing the future). It is redistribution of wealth. The American populous is paying for this, make no mistake.

I'm one of those assholes that hates welfare. Serious questions: If someone does not benefit society, should society carry their dead weight? If someone does not have the self control to save up for an emergency, should the people who did be punished? It's okay to disagree.

Bad shit happens to good people, I get it. But I have personally known far too many living paycheck to paycheck or worse because of terrible life choices, nonexistent self control, and unrealistic financial decisions. I do benefit from this bailout now but ultimately I and the rest of the working class (and the rich) will carry that burden to our graves to benefit those above named people. This is a dangerous precedent.

Will I cash the check? Yep. Because I will be paying its dues even if I refuse.

I’m one of those people that believe there are billions of unaccounted for dollars in the government used for “black ops” projects. Plus, there are plenty of corporate welfare handouts/tax breaks. So yeah. I’m all for a stimulus. A big one.
