My opinion on WGTOW: Good for them.

The last thing feminists need is for women to start going their own way as well. But realistically, WGTOW is a pipe dream that an extreme minority of women can actually pull off as the female sex is neither mentally nor physically equipped with the necessary tools to live entirely on their own. Women literally evolved to depend on the surplus value that men provide and they are neither interested nor capable of fending for themselves physically nor emotionally which is why solitude is a form of torture to the majority of women whereas it's therapeutic to men.

Another user suggested comparing MGTOW and WGTOW on Wikipedia. The differences are stark. The article written for MGTOW in the References, the cited works are almost all written by women.

It's a very good thing. Plenty of women want to remain childfree and forego cohabitation and marriage, just as plenty of men do. When decent options exist, society will be able to better hold to account those who duck out of their responsibilities when they intentionally choose to procreate.

Women really should go their own way, just as men are.

If a man has something you want, and he's not a blue pill who will just give it to you, you copy it for attention. In tech for example, many emulate successful developers, get hiring preference, then complain about impostor syndrome until they're promoted, once again with hiring preference assist. Why would WGTOW be any different? They will emulate successful MGTOWs, get youtube preference & drown out MGTOW voices with their complaints. "It's a woman's world" means there are "safe spaces"... Unless you are a man.

Just remember r/wgtow is no more authoritarian of wgtow as r/mgtow is of mgtow. It's ran by just whoever first registered the sub name.

As for wgtow itself, the philosophy of going your own way is good for both men and women, both straights and gays. I have no problem with women honestly discussing going their own way and acting on it. Whether r/wgtow is more like r/mgtow or r/mgtow2 remains to be seen.

After a cursory look at the sub, what sticks out to me is that alpha fucks, beta bucks doesn't make women any happier than the beta male orbiter who desperately wants love but can't get it.
