My wife recently brought up that she thinks she has a mild case of postpartum depression and is thinking of going to see her doctor about medication. She says she has never had thoughts of harming the kids but she always feels anxious.
Apparently "a lot of women go on medication for a few months to get out of the rut and it is not a big deal." Her sex drive is still low. Is that because I am not attractive enough to her or because she is having problems in her own head? Probably a bit of both.
Her main points were about never feeling like she does enough around the house or with the kids and that she should do more as she is now a SAHM. Interestingly enough none of what she said had anything to do with her duties as a wife. I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with this and how I should conduct myself going forward. If she really is experiencing PPD could that explain some of her attitude and low libido? I know it isn't the whole case and that I am to blame as well.
