New to MRP; actually found it earlier this week, and thank God I did. My life has changed so much in three days, but I'm here to look for some validation/confirmation from other MRP men.

When my wife met me, I was fairly alpha. I wasn't total Alpha-man, but mostly alpha. It wasn't until Monday, that I realized how beta I had become. My wife, somehow, over the course of a five year relationship and a 1 1/2 year marriage tuned me into a beta bitch. It got to the point i was lurking in DB. Finally I found the light. I crammed the prerequisites, and my implementation started Monday.

My wife and I, however, have an instant messenger so we can communicate at our offices without having to be on our phones. Ever since I started MRP techniques I have began to STFU on many of her Instant Messages (IMs). I have been beta-ed for so long, that I almost thing her IMs are almost shit tests; where she dangles a treat to see if i'll do a trick. Her last few IMs: "jebus my brother is embarrassing" "read this (with a url)" "aaaand im poor". Question 1: Does MRP agree that these are shit tests? I have been STFU.

My wife loves to lead, and during this transition stage it is hard for me to be the captain, not because she won't let me, but because of preplanned events that she has full knowledge of, whereas I don't. For instance, we are having her family over for Thanksgiving this weekend as we will be out of town visiting my family next weekend, and she has put together the full shopping list and gathered all the recipes. Question 2: How do I captain the situation as I am transitioning into me taking on the captain role?

Lastly, I want more sex. I'd like it almost twice as often as we have it now. I gave her a lecture yesterday about not having time to appease a sexually uninterested wife. After I told her how things were going to be, I held frame, and left the house. She asked where I was going, and I said "to slay dragons". I ran down to Lowe's to buy some flourescent bulbs that needed replacing, came home, replaced them, and I think my lecture got to her bc we had some of the most passionate sex we've had in a long time. Fast forward to today. She's IMing me, and is going over a list of things that need to be done around the house. I make a list and tell her what needs to be done and what she should do (alpha), and we plan to relax later in the evening playing Call of Duty zombies (she loves that game, don't ask me why). She tells me she bought a new headset. I told her "when all the things we need to do our done you can play with me later". She responded "sounds good". I then replied "and then we can play zombies". her response was "wait. what". I pretty much STFU as I didn't like her response. Question 3: How should I have handled said situation?
