Honestly there's no reason for you to tolerate her lack of willingness to fix her sex problem. You need to tell her that you married her because you love her but that you expect a physical relationship with her. That's the way it is. She needs to improve that shit ASAP. It's what a man and a woman do.

Now you also gotta ask yourself if you're still worth fucking. You got a respectAble job? Are you engaged in interesting hobbies, or are you sitting in front of a computer playing games all day? You need to be in as good or better shape than when you were having sex. You watching your breath, plucking your nose hairs, trimming your nails? You don't have to be pretty, but you can't look like a slob.

Look at other methods for birth control. You need to ecucate yourself because clearly your wife needs a leader who will tell her to take care of herself for your mutual benefit. IUDs are great. Or get a vasectomy. Obviously money is tight, you could always talk to the hospital about repayment plans. Don't let money be an issue. You can grow to resent each other because of shit like this. Shame bud, I've been through the BC=no sex thing and it was terrible. I've also been through the Depression Meds=no sex.

Unfortunately I was pretty much BP while my wife was on the BC so I don't know how differently things would have gone if I had taken the RP back then. I do know others that have great success by changing brands of BC.

My wife is still on depression meds however she changed about a month before I went the RP route so I can't for sure say that it was the change in meds that helped or if RP changed everything - I think without RP it wouldn't make any difference what meds she was on I'd still be having a dry spell because she just wouldn't be attracted to me and who could blame her.

Have you started to improve yourself? Are you being the man of the house? Do you make the decisions? Do you work out? Tick all these boxes and see if things start improving and report back in a month.

The advice here is solid. Without knowing what's going on in the rest of your life it's hard to tell what the source of this is. If you think it's solely related to BC then tell your wife. My wife went through these issues, and she doesn't have to go to the Doc, they have these things called PHONES. A quick call to the OB/GYN can get her script changed.

So look around, read the MMSLP and see if that resonates with you. As I see it there's some leadership issues on your part. Never ever leave the marital bed. That's your throne buddy, and by acting all butt-hurt and sleeping on the couch she see's you as bratty little boy. Who wants to fuck that?

You want to get to the point that no matter what is going on in her pussy she needs to fuck you. That my friend is not a quick fix. So sit her in a neutral environment and tell her clearly "I will not be in a sexless marriage. I need you; sex is how I express my love for you. You need to go to the doctor and get this fixed." And don't let up until she says "ok, I'll go." Be clear, tell her you see this as a threat to the marriage.

This is not a new story but you have some work to do.

You need to be a leader and MAKE her OB/GYN appointment. Put it on her schedule and pick her up and take her if you want. This is absolutely not acceptable. Not even close.

Second, pain during sex is abnormal. Use KY if you need it but there should not be pain during sex. The pussy is an amazing organ, really. It can take a pounding and still spit out another human being.

Third, sleeping on the couch? WTF are you serious? NO man should ever leave his bed to sleep on the couch. Never.

Theres a few things to consider here. 1) get that BC in check now. Seriously a GP can put in an IUD. I know my birth control dried me up like a fuckin desert and just decreased sex drive to zero. Basically I grabbed the lube and said "alright go for it." That's the wonderful catch 22 of hormonal birth control. It sucks.

2) Are you fuckable?

3) Are you nagging her? Honestly even when I stopped the birth control if my husband was nagging me for sex it is an incredible turn off. I'm a busy person and while I will make time for sex at least once a day maybe more and often initiate, if my husband would nag or beg I would be so put off. If you are nagging her for sex you are simply not maintaining frame.

So here would be my PoA if I were you. Get her in for an IUD. Give no fucks about co-pays, I'm quite certain you can work it into your budget somehow. Life uh...finds a way. If that doesn't clear things up (and even if it does) make her want to have sex with you. You know better than anyone what she likes in bed. Start there. For me, I like when my husband gets very carnal. Hard to turn down my husband when he comes home, grabs my wrists, pins me against the wall and starts kissing my neck. Maybe even take her to a lingerie store, let her pick out something sexy, tell her what you're going to do to her in those. If she's put off by the idea, shopping is over...she doesnt get nice new stuff. Otherwise, get the creative juices flowing so to speak. Start the sexy conversation early. By the time you get home make her squirm in her seat. If all else fails, maybe try a sex therapist. Maybe you even have mismatched libidos and would need to discuss options to make it work for both of you. If she is truly the person you want to spend your life with, a short term investment in the physical aspect for both of you is much better than an unhappy marriage ultimately ending in divorce because of the lack of the physical aspect. Calmly bring this issue up to her that it is a problem for you and that you need to come up with a concrete plan of attack as a couple as to how to deal with the problem. It can't be a my needs vs your needs situation. It is an OUR needs situation because ultimately it is not only in your best interest but hers as well to maintain a healthy physical relationship for the sake of the marriage. But I do think that if she gets an IUD, things will quickly change and maybe she'll initiate sex. One last note, when you do have sex, make it good. From a womans perspective here sex used to be a chore. Like "alright let's get this over with." I eventually voiced this to my husband because he'd essentially "one pump chump" it and I'd get no satisfaction whatsoever so I'd just get myself off later on my own. Foreplay foreplay foreplay. Y'all get the sex, we get the foreplay. My husband decided that he was going to get me off and then have his way whichever which way he can think of. He has since turned me into a total nympho for him. I drove him to work this morning, parked in the back of the parking lot and kickstarted his morning because I want to please him now. These are things to consider. A woman isn't as likely to be all about the sex...make her want it. Don't ask, initiate.

Tell her that a sexless marriage is not what you want and she has to see a doctor about the sexual pain/discomfort immediately.You signed up for monogamy, not celibacy. And this can't be an idle threat: Be ready to walk if she refuses to acknowledge and address the problem. She needs to know that doing nothing is a deal breaker for the relationship. Get her off the pill. Women already can't think clearly, much less when their hormones are fucked. Once the pill has left her system try to have sex with condoms. Natural family planning has been very successful for my wife and I for 5 years. She was on the pill for the first 4 months of our marriage and admitted that it made her crazy and have no desire for sex. If natural family planning (tracking her ovulation and using a condom when she is able to get pregnant) sounds too risky. Then use a condom all the time or get her on an IUD or get the snip done to yourself.

Seriously, hormone therapy for some women is the worst thing they can do. For some women its fine, for others it ruins them.
