I'd like to start by thanking all my bros who have been helping me out, you know who you are. Kicking my blue pill addiction is hard, but I like the results. I'm more confident, assertive and focused. I no longer make apologies for things I have no business feeling sorry for, I'm no longer burying my natural self in what my catholic upbringing and society tells me should be my improve self.

A few key highlights from the past week:

I went from 195 lbs to 186 lbs. I'll probably be at my target weight of 6'1" and 175 by the end of the month.

I went from 20+ hours of video games to cold turkey.

I went from ~20 drinks a week to cold turkey.

I just bought a new set of suits and my dress at work has vastly improved, it has not gone unnoticed by the bosses or the ladies.

I've improved orders of magnitude as a father. Now I not only hold frame when my daughter acts up (this came naturally) I also hold frame when my wife comes in to sabotage me in the middle of me being a father. We've licked the monsters under the bed issue in just three days after my wife's method stagnated for over a month because I flat took charge.

My wife is letting me have it lately. She was totally pissed when I refused to budge on taking charge of the sleep retraining. She's still giving me the silent treatment. But it's part of the process, I'm not letting it get to me. She's detoxing as much as I am after all, she's just clueless as to what's going on where as I know exactly what's happening. It's my job to be strong for both of us as we go through this.

Despite the letting me have it, we had sex twice in this week, something that has rarely happened in the last six years. And it was mind blowing both times. If she didn't come down with a cold I suspect we'd be up to 4-5.

I still don't know what the future holds for me on this path, but one thing is clear is that I'd rather die than go back to the way I was.
