From a previous post I made, I did put out there that my dad died recently. Like 3 weeks ago. And that does affect a lot of things, including insurance coverage (Medicaid). I got informed via a friend that most likely because of the benefits I'll be receiving because of my dad's death, I would lose out on Medicaid entirely. I talk to an operator at Medicaid that was unsure to give me an answer of how it would affect my coverage. That's up to the state. They said I don't have to file a report with them yet until I after I receive my benefits (November 3rd). After that, I do have to make a report and then the state would handle the rest.

My friend said that it was most definite that I'll lose Medicaid entirely and that I'll have to switch to a different Cigna plan. This would affect everything including the doctors and therapists I wanna see and I would have to start paying copays and premiums every time I go to an appointment. And that doesn't include vision, dental, prescription and transportation.

Basically, it'll be hard to get in contact with doctors again until next year and even then, it'll be expensive. I'm on disability so as you can clearly see, this is kinda freaking me out. Anyway, I wanna know what you guys think I should do because all of this is really overwhelming for me.
