A challenge: Misandry vs Misogyny, which is more common

The word Misandry isn't included in most dictionaries or even recognized by 2013 reddit spellcheck. This would indicate that most people don't use the word or even know what it means. Without a term for anti-male behavior it probably goes unrecognized far more often than anti-female behavior, a word that everyone knows.

Haters gonna hate... the trick is not to let haters on either side of the spectrum become a majority and exercise there political will on others. The Founding Fathers knew this hence why the US is (supposed to be but I digress) a Representative Republic and not a democracy

Can't really say which is more common, but you can say both exist. The major difference I'd say is that misogyny is recognized for the bigoted filth that it is while misandry is still mostly viewed indifferently until it reaches levels bordering on genocide, and even then likely being viewed as a hyperbolic joke or instance of poe's law in action.

Another way of calculating

How many tenured professors are there who specialize in "Male Studies" (anti-misandry, as opposed to "Men's Studies" which is pro-misandry) compared with Marxist-feminist tenured professors who openly promote misandry.

How often do we laugh at male pain/suffering vs female pain/suffering? How often do we depict men in a negative, violent or dumb way in the media vs women? How often do we trivialize violence against men vs violence against women? How often do we show concern for women vs show concern for men? How often do we place unfair or harmful social, sexual, personal and professional expectations onto men vs onto women? How often do we exclude men from establishments/services, because of their gender, vs women? The list goes on and on but I would say that misandry is far more common than misogyny... and by a significant margin.
