One day as I was strolling through my school, I noticed a girl in my class using her laptop which was COVERED in feminist stickers. My curiosity got the better of me, so I went over and asked her what made her get involved with the feminist movement. She proceeded to rattle off some of the most bigoted, misquoted and just plain wrong statistics I have ever heard. When I tried to correct her or give the statistics some context, she accused me of being a misogynistic male pig and wouldn't hear any of it. This is where you guys come in. I want her to understand that what she is saying is wrong, but by trying I'm on very thin ice. So what do you think I should do? Send her some statistics, buy her a copy of The Myth of Male Power, or do you think some people are just beyond saving? I'm open to any advice.
