Good article! And you're right, there is a HUGE double standard about violence. I've talked to a lot of women who think it's understandable for a woman to hit a man because clearly, he made her angry and therefore deserved it. I bet they wouldn't think that way about a man hitting a woman. A lot of these same women will also tell you that it's not as serious if a woman hits a man, because it isn't as physically damaging and the man's feelings won't be as hurt. WTF???? It's ridiculous. It drives me nuts.

Whether a person did something despicable to warrant a fit of rage from their spouse is irrelevant - we shouldn't solve problems with our fists! It's wrong no matter what (unless we're talking self-defense, obviously).

I'd have to disagree with you on what the important idea is here.

Tiger Woods may have destroyed his professional reputation, as well as his marriage. In doing so, he’s also shown us all that this country has a very long way to go when it comes to clear thinking about domestic violence and the toll it takes.

The point of all of this isn't that women are all self-satisfied bitches that are oblivious to the double-standard that exists. The point is that we have a society that treats violent crimes as if they're the fault of men, even when men are the victim. People can, with rare exception, only know what they're taught and exposed to.

We need to close the gap here so that men and women can have empathy and sympathy for one another.

This is fine though. More and more men are getting sick of the women's attitudes and behaviors. It appears that there is more and more a backlash against these modern feminine behaviors building. Menrights indeed. All of the rights that ANYBODY has were fought for by men. All we did was create a place where the rights men fought for can be taken away from us by our own women!

But that is ok. The shoe is moving to the other foot. Men are tired of this and we are speaking out. So I say let the bitches snicker. Let them get as nasty and ugly as they want because sooner or later men are going to put them back in their places because of shit like this. They are just putting logs on the fire that is going to burn them and most everything they tried to achieve.

I'm not sure how much more it is going to take but the male gender is not to be trifled with or oppressed. We are not females to endure this burden for generations untold back into history or onward ever into the future!

The thing that the article missed is that he admitted to infidelity on his website, and over 20 women have come forward saying they slept with them, and there are more who he is paying to keep quiet. He was also feeding most of these girls 5-20 thousand dollars a month to fuck him when he wanted and keep quiet the whole time.

That being said, I don't blame him. He's the highest-paid athlete in the world, and can do whatever the fuck he wants. But he is very stupid for cheating on his superfine model wife, especially with the ugly club trash he got with.
