Rhetorical question.

A female SJW friend posted on Facebook the other day that she was enjoying playing Burnout and crashing into as many things as possible for points. I replied with the following quip: "Soooo you're just driving around like a normal woman then? Lol! Kidding!"

Fast forward to today, she's claiming I'm a misogynistic ass who insulted her and made her feel bad about her gender. My response, and this is the part I'd like feedback on, was that it was a joke and that if she feels bad about her gender because of it all she's done is give legitimacy to the people out there who really seriously believe that women are insane drivers that must be stopped from controlling vehicles at all costs. I then pointed out that all I've done is make people who think that way appear ridiculous by way of turning their serious belief into a joke.

But I don't know, maybe I'm really a part of the patriarchy, because now she's saying I can't tell her how to react to gendered jokes because I wouldn't understand how it feels. You know, because there aren't any insulting jokes about men or anything. Or I don't have a gender. I'm not really sure what she's getting at with that but you get the idea of what I'm dealing with here. Since when did it become wrong for men to tell gender jokes?
