Feeling a loss is not dependant on there being a sentient human life (which is the more common criterion).

Sorry, but you're slightly retarded.

There are many reasons why an early miscarriage would upset you. It's clearly not because you have a strong connection to the embryo. Nor is it because of the loss of a human life. A couple of examples could be:
1) The disappointment of losing the embryo after having looked forward to getting a baby, maybe even being on a high because of having tried to get pregnant for a long time.
2) The loss of an unborn baby, no matter at which stage, is a huge blow to one's self esteem. Further it makes you question whether you did something wrong that caused the loss of the unborn baby, or whether there's something wrong with you, and if further pregnancy attempts will have the same result.

Also, nothing to do with men's rights.

I am a pro-choice man, but I would still be sad if someone had a miscarriage. Just because I think a woman has the right to choose doesn't mean a fetus has no value. People who believe in abortion aren't all heartless monsters.

Yes. Understand it like this: Feminist reality is determined by the subjective state of the woman. If she wants it to be a baby, then it's a baby. If she doesn't want it to be a baby, then it's just a lump of "conception tissues". Her feelings constitute her reality, and her reality is the only one that matters.

I doubt she was pro-abortion; very, very few people are pro-choice, pro-abortion. Most are Pro-choice, anti-abortion.
