In the currently climate, its dangerous for a male to be around any female, period. The state had monopoly over violence, and somehow they decided to use that violence against male citizen with a simple call to action by female citizen. The only thing you can do now is to hide until this worldwide persecution phenomenon ends, sadly it probably wouldn't end within our lifespan.

That’s an unfortunate story. But, it was a male that called the cops. You should also be pissed at the husband. You could have spoke to the husband and calmed the situation down, but you instigated it…with the husband. He’s the one that called the cops and told them you have the gun. You’re not putting any fault on him even though the cops showed up because of what he did.

Wear a bodycam at all times. This will protect you from false accusations. Sad that the world has come to this but it has, at a minimum always run a good voice recorder.
