Cargo shorts are awesome. If I'm going for a long walk, hike, or a bit of boulder climbing they're perfect, especially if they also have a zipped pocket for you wallet and phone.

Not just on a crappy website. Society is rife with sartorial misandry.
Men in formal offices must wear torture devices, such as suits, closed collars, ties. Women can wear almost anything.
Any notice of a woman's manner of dress risks a man's job.
Even schoolgirls can prevent male teachers enforcing dress code by accusing teachers of being perverts for noticing short skirts violating dress code.
Women can wear sleeveless garments in office or light summer skirts, men cannot.
Women can wear any colour at the office, men cannot.
Men deserve sartorial freedom and equality.

Calling a suit a torture device means you probably have an improperly fitted or very poor quality suit (and your ties shouldn't be choking you). A good suit should feel very nice to wear, akin to pajamas even. It can also be rather empowering too if you have a stylish one.
But nonetheless I agree, the lack of choice of clothing for men in the workplace or formal occasions is atrocious.

Calling a suit a torture device means you probably have an improperly fitted or very poor quality suit (and your ties shouldn't be choking you).
Every time I've worn something fitting properly around the neck, it feels uncomfortable, not quite choking, but like the blood is being cut off to my head (having worn dress blues for more than 12 hours, this is obviously not accurate, but that's what it feels like).

In all seriousness, social standards of clothing are unfortunate for both sexes, but in different ways. Women can't be topless in most places and situations. Women can seriously abuse workplace dress code in hot weather. Men's personal expression and creativity are stifled, and some women have to cover up or be murdered. It's unfortunate but linking to one organization's trivial catty whining is also trivial catty whining. It serves no productive purpose. It also takes one of the aspects of typical feminists and injects it into our sub which works against our efforts.

It is definitely my issue. Socially accepted differences in clothing is in fact a big issue for me.
Again, this sub is not men's issues. It's men's rights. The moderators specifically state that it's about rights to avoid deteriorating into a catty bitchfest like the feminist subs. If you think complaining about opinion pieces that are complaining about fashion differences is a rights issue then you need to step outside of your cushy little box and go out into the real world.
First, those boys are dealing with a rights issue because a government institution is keeping them down. Second, you have no idea how much courage and empathy I have. I'll bet I actually have more than you. I actually go out wearing skirts sometimes.
