It is not a PR problem.

Modern feminism is total shit.

White women are already the most entitled overall demographic of human beings on the face of planet Earth. However, what (mostly white) feminists do is constantly emit plaintive cries about their pampered and mostly elevated status. Why you might ask? Because a being damseling shithead is apparently what a lot of (again majority white) women are all about.

Take Anita Sarkeesian for example. She laments that women are (allegedly) portrayed more negatively than men in video games, ostensibly as passive help-seeking creatures. So what does she do? Does she learn how to code and make video games? Not particularly. She applies a lot of make up, gets in front of a camera, smiles a lot, and implores others to solve an alleged problem for her. She is, in effect, a paragon of the very sterotype she claims she deplores -- the "damsel in distress trope."

And so it is with modern feminism today. Modern feminism is a manifestation of a sad stereotype about women (damseling, rather than getting out there and working hammer and sickle to provide for objective needs). Feminism is a lazy discipline based on lazy fainting-couch pseudointellectual post-modernist flummery. It's what bored housewives and schoolchildren do for a hobby when they've had their worldly concerns taken care of for them. This is unfortunate, but wholly accurate.

That thread is a good example of why it's useless to argue with feminists unless you have an audience that can potentially be swayed. You may as well try arguing with creationists about evolution.

I've noticed what the feminists there are talking about: men are becoming increasingly outspoken and indeed -- angry.

It started with "not all men". Feminists rejected that idea and insisted all men were to blame for their problems. Then men said "men suffer too: here are our issues". Feminists responded with "lol male tearz" and "what about the menz?".

So now, very predictably, men are starting to get angry. Very angry. It's not just the laws that discriminate against men and privilege women -- it's the contempt and disrespect.

What feminists don't seem to realize is that this "war" they have been waging against males has been entirely one sided. Men have tried to ignore them and accommodate their demands for a hundred years. Well, you can only kick a dog for so long before it fights back.

The other tragic irony is that they don't appear to understand that "those evul MRA's" are a figment of their imagination. We are simply asking for what feminists claimed (falsely, it turns out) they wanted: gender equality. If they had any sense they would support us 100 percent. Because if we fail, that boogeyman they've erected will become a reality. It is utopian thinking of the highest order to imagine that men will put up with this constant abuse indefinitely.

Err, no, lady. They spend their time creating the world and keeping it running for you. And dying in large numbers whilst doing it! Oh, err, and financing the living costs of mothers and daughters for the best part of their lives, whilst subsiding those lives for the rest of those lives, because men are net creditors to society and women and girls are net debitors.

The most important thing to realise is that a lot of feminists behave like 17th century puritanical zealots. Only their religion happens to be feminism. Questioning their belief system is blasphemy/oppression by the damned/patriarchy.

Like fundamentalist Christians, they have their own "science" and "research" that's not based on facts. You should feel sorry for them and forgive their violent outburst as we forgive the foibles of others with different mental illnesses.

First of all, yes they ARE Feminist. "GenderCritical" is a TERF (Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist) sub. Here's their sidebar:

The topic was, why do women only subs have plenty of bitter men commenting these days?

Maybe it's the Streisand Effect. When they declare their sub to be woman-only, that tends to piss people off. Note that this sub is perfectly fine with female posters.

Your problem is you're expecting reasonable discussion from a hate group. I mean, this isn't even garden-variety Feminism, this is "Gender-Critical" (euphemism) Radical Feminism. These are Feminists who believe wholeheartedly that men are the oppressor class, and hate men so much that they see transwomen as men trying to infiltrate and usurp womanhood, and transmen as traitorous women defecting to the "enemy."

Your experience was pretty much the same as if you'd gone on CoonTown (before it got banned), started your post with "as a black man," and made an argument about the effect widespread poverty has on black crime.
