FVAM = Female violence against men

Without question it's real and happens far more often than many are aware of. Women can be and are violent to men and boys, just as much as men are to women and girls. Both genders are capable of inflicting horrendous abuse and violence against each other. It's infuriating to see people either downplaying female on male violence or even outright denying it exists (how delusional does one have to be?) or they'll claim it doesn't have the same impact and severity due to things like size and strength differences, and thus isn't comparable. Or a favorite fallback argument of their's, that when women are violent it's in self-defense and it's rare for them to instigate it. False and wrong on all counts.

They'll often cite statistics but never take into account the massive numbers of male victims who don't report, out of fear of not being believed or their female attacker playing victim and claiming she acted in self-defense (which has been made even worse thanks to MeToo and the "believe women" mentality). Sometimes the reports aren't taken seriously or they'll still get filed as being against women under the VAWA, which never documents anti-male violence seperately. And the reports also never make the distinction between violence committed out of genuine ill will and malice, and that done in self-defense. The statistics are incredibly vague and misleading, but misandrists will always take them at face value.

It's an undeniable fact that female violence against men (as well as boys) exists just like it's counterpart and in much higher numbers than many are aware of and it's so maddening to see it downplayed, marginalized or even outright denied. Just like they'll do with misandry. Men and women both inflict terrible violent against each other. I hate how this is downplayed and also that women can be plenty violent against innocent women as well, and there's been many innocent women who've fallen victim to the violence done by evil women. It's an undeniable and indisputable fact that both men and women are equally violent to each other and violent men and women alike both need to be equally punished. And of course if you mention this fact you'll get the typical rebuttal to stop derailing the conversation about women or that it's like saying "all lives matter" :/
