Was expecting something more than slapping but still, not cool.

On the other hand, that guy seemed like a douche, coming to a protest to fight a game of "MY OPINION IS LOUDER THAN YOURS" without anything to support him.

One thing is saying that dressing, let's say, modestly helps prevent sexual assault, which is IMHO a valid point, if a little simplistic, as rape no about sexual attraction in most cases.

What you have to understand is that this protest are meant to send the message that just because you are driving a car doesn't mean you are at fault for being carjacked, even if you decided to take out the Mustang instead of the Tsuru. And even that analogy is not accurate, as value is a big factor in carjacking, while appearance isn't, as far as I know.

BTW I would say "Not related to Men's rights", but this discussion is an important one. I just hope you didn't post it because "Feminist are evil"

Best way to protest these walks is to carry signs that are an even bigger parody than they are.

"Don't blame my actions for giving me hypothermia! Blame the cold". Or other statements that are just as obvious, and evoke the same "no shit" response as "Don't blame women for being raped, blame the rapist!".

I have honestly never seen a single protest in my life that is so pointless. The thing they are protesting doesn't exist in the Western world, aside from in the minds of some crazy people (which the people in the article seem to be).

Dumbass feminists continue to protest unwanted male attention by insisting on slut walks. The crude message strangely seems to be: we can damn well be anything we like including sluts and you men can damn well behave and accept it...Is there a brain in any of their heads?

Now if I were to counter-demonstrate a slutwalk it would be to dress like Eric Cartman did on that episode of South Park where he showed up on Maury Povich's show as an out of control teen. My chant: "Whateva, Whateva! I do what I want!"
