Ms. Hale certainly sounds like a reasonable person with some good ideas and I suspect that there are many other people who consider themselves to be feminist that probably share her views. The problem is their voices are drowned out by the radical extremists who seem to be "in charge" of most feminist groups. I don't know if it's due to inactivity on the behalf of the more moderate feminists or if they are just vastly outnumbered by the extremists.

With regard to the whole "married and stay home with the kids" thing, women need to wake up and realize that the current laws regarding divorce, alimony, child custody and child support have removed virtually all incentives for men to participate in this kind of arrangement. If women truly value this kind of arrangement then they need to step up and take action to demand more equitable laws.
