I recently saw “men’s aid Ireland” detail how many females they helped last year. Despite having female only resources dedicated through “Women’s Aid” - who actively go out of their way to inform the public they don’t help men. So even women are consuming mens only resources in Ireland. It’s a fucking joke

Ive been going through the same thing for over a year now.

Pretty much given up on everything.

Im alone 24/7 and starting to feel content with it being this way.

My dog is a life saver (literally, probably would have self deleted by now if he wasn't still around keeping me sane)

Yah I recently tried to find help with home repairs or schooling. I only found 1 program for parents to help with school and the only program my area offed for single dads was to help dads with the consequences of not paying child support and helping them find jobs so they could pay child support it's completely fucked up. If you look at programs for moms they are offered help with almost everything jobs, school, housing, cars,bills ect. It's insane why aren't all the programs for parents not just moms

If there are no resources, then set one up. This is where men need to be more proactive.

The reason resources are for women is because men aren't reporting, so that needs to change. I've had run ins with female dates in the past and I never thought of telling anyone, this is what abusers depend upon, silence.

I'm sure there are services for men but you will need to look more often, you may also need to convince the services you are not the abuser. So make sure to document everything you can, voice record things if safe to do so and confide in people you trust about what is happening.
