I tend to browse via /r/MensRights/new/. I think we have sufficiently few posts and comments that I read almost everything, even with the occasional downvote brigade.

I always upvote good posts. It's true that some posts are buried because of downvote trolls. For example this DV poster.

I think people underestimate the effect of people who legitimately disagree with the topic.

The troll issue isn't as big as it is made out to be, it just seems big because it is so annoying.

True enough. That's why I go through the new posts every hour or so, and upvote everything that has a bearing on men's rights. I downvote the troll posts, though.

We should all go down the list and use our upvotes to negate the downvote brigades. We outnumber them, after all.

There are at least as many trolls and downvoters as regular posters. It comes with the territory of going against a sick ideology that has become the orthodoxy. You don't really need to worry about it.

I don't vote as many submissions but I vote on almost every comment I read. Not out of a sense of duty but more out of habit.

That's one of the biggest problems the MRM faces. We just have to deal with the fact that we have opinions which are not mainstream.

Part of the reality of being men in this society is that we have to put up with a constant bombardment of, well, shit.

I don't mind the downvote brigades--they keep the debate lively and healthy. Most niche subreddits like this just have their core constituency, and otherwise just flounder under the weight of circle-jerking. With so many juicy trolls and downvote brigades constantly pushing back against the ideas of /MR, it only tempers our resolve to a fine steel. People get too much pride off of their karma ratings; I'd rather have less karma and deal with people who genuinely disagree with my ideas and take me on to debate them.
