"How It Works" - The collection!

Behaving badly

  • If women call men out on bad behavior - that's "fighting patriarchy"

  • If men call women out on bad behavior - that's misogyny.

Stereotyping

  • If women say "Men, stop raping!" and mra's get upset because they know most men don't rape, then they are supporting rapists - because some men are rapists.

  • If men say "Women, stop gold-digging!" then feminists call that sexist and misogynistic, its somehow different - even though some women are gold-diggers?

Physical strength

  • When you want strength not to matter - Women can do everything men can! Gender is a social construct! It is sexist to assume men can do a better job lifting heavy things!

  • When you want strength to matter - Men abuse their superior strength! They are hard-wired to rape! Women need special protection because men are physically stronger!

Respecting your spouse

  • "Should wives respect their husbands?" - Of course not, that's an antiquated view based on patriarchal notions. Women are just as capable as men.

  • "Should husbands respect their wives?" - Unless they want to be a misogynistic pig who basically advocates rape culture. Men need to learn to work as a team.

Bias in the system

  • Minorities sent to jail in greater numbers : Pretty blatant example of racism in the system.

  • Males send to jail in greater numbers : Men clearly commit a lot more crimes!

Men around children

  • Women attack men for acting like women should be the ones working with children.

  • Then then women openly distrust men around children for maybe being pedophiles.

Sex and leverage

  • She's not using sex for leverage - she's just "not feeling close to you after a fight", that she started.

  • She's not denying sex to get what she wants - she's just "not feeling close to you when you don't understand why she's right"

  • She's not using sex as positive reinforcement for behavior - she's just "showing you how important it is that you care about her needs"

  • She's not trying to control you through sex - she's just "reminding you not to upset her or the sex will stop"

On your activism succeeding

  • When you are struggling upwards, you are a dangerous asshole.

  • When you've reached the top, you were a determined freedom fighter.

Feminism and gender equality

Step 1. Claim to be about gender equality.

Step 2. Handwave away every male issue as "men already have all the power."

Step 3. Attack any complaint about that with "what about the menz" shaming language.

Feminist ratcheting

  1. Women see an area where men have a perceived advantage.

  2. They lobby and get a law passed saying women have to be equally represented there.

  3. They do not make it so men have to be equally represented there.

Feminists and SRS

  1. Feminists say <x> wouldn't happen.

  2. People point out specific examples of why it might.

  3. Feminists say <x> doesn't happen.

  4. People point out specific examples of when it has.

  5. Feminists say <x> happening is rare though!

  6. People point out how it isn't rare and is increasing.

  7. Feminists say not all women are like that.

  8. People point out that many are.

  9. Feminists call everyone misogynist and start trolling from /SRS.

Sexist Oppression

  • This works against us! Sexist oppression!

  • This works in our favor! Sexist oppression!

  • This assumes about physical strength! Sexist oppression!

  • This doesn't consider physical strength! Sexist oppression!

Guys not committing

  • Single guy : "OMG Playing video games is a sign of his immaturity and unwillingness to commit!"

  • Married guy with children : "OMG Playing video games is a sign of his unwillingness to go outside!"

(Replace "video games" with "books", "beer", "television", or "sports" - and it's the same argument.)

Finding blame

  • Women have equal opportunity and ability!

  • Their failures are still somehow men's fault.

Feminists and false rape accusations

  1. First they say it would never happen.

  2. When confronted with claims, they say it didn't happen.

  3. When confronted with evidence, they say it barely happens.

  4. When confronted with massive evidence, they say only a fringe portion does that.

  5. When confronted with overwhelming indisputable evidence, they say you're a misogynist.
