If she wants a child, why would she not just go to a sperm bank? If you impregnate this girl, you aren't going to have any legal protection against child support claims. Legally, it would be your child.

EDIT: Basically, what I'm asking is, what benefit were you hoping to get out of this?

No. Even if there is no extradition treaty, it may be possible for her to sue for child support in your country. And even if that is not possible now, laws can change and make you retroactively liable.

Do not do this unless you are willing to be financially responsible should she change her mind and find a way of suing you for support.

But experience tells me that a woman's word, while genuine at the moment of utterance, doesn't mean shit really.

I don't want to make any judgements about the truthfulness of women in general, but the financial realities of supporting a child could very well make her break her promise.

Depending on which country she's in, there a good chance she could still get child support if she wanted to. And most countries will not let you sign a contract not to ever ask for child support. Don't do it.

I was asked recently to essentially make an unofficial sperm donation, and get a woman who was worried about missing her opportunity to have a child pregnant.

Anything else is just a rationalization/excuse so she can tap someone else for money to pay for her choice.

Kuppers - If you allow a female human being to impregnate herself with your semen, you are providing her the means to legally bind you to 18 years of child support payments. She can keep you around or not, that's her choice legally. She can dispose of you, and keep a major fraction of your income. If for whatever reason you find yourself unable to pay - she can imprison you. When you get out of prison, you will still owe the money.

This sounds highly suspicious. Why can't she get a donor in her own country?

You won't be able to mail her your sperm - you'll have to meet somewhere. And at that point you'll be subject to the laws of the country you meet in. Which will, in all probability, favour women over men.

I would steer clear of this. If you just want to spread your genes, go to another country and donate sperm to an agency there. But by making a direct arrangement with a person like this, I'm pretty sure you will incur legal obligations.
