I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s men whose earlier behaviour was excused by the same women who were abused. This in no way excuses abusive jerks, but at the same time, we need to stop pretending that abusive behaviour comes out of nowhere. I guarantee you there were earlier signs that were ignored or excused

Great idea! It's like when someone brings up patriarchy - I like to ask, "who?" and "Is the patriarchy in the room with us now?"

It's ridiculous how often media refers to men as a group. Men aren't all doing bad things as a group. There are literally billions of different individuals on this planet and we all do different things. So sick of being blamed as a group for the actions of very few.

I make them uncomfortable.

I bring up the facts women abuse children at a far higher rate, lesbians have a much higher rate of domestic violence and abortion.

The crime statistics are incredibly skewed. Male rape/sexual assault is often unreported, the person isn't brought to justice or its reported and not taken seriously.

A 16 year old and 12 year old is not ok and in any other circumstance this will be called rape. A 4 years age gap at that age is massive.

Abuse statistics same thing goes unreported, not taken seriously or the person just doesn't get justice.

I kid you not, I once saw a woman say it would have been romantic if she slapped him then kissed him regarding a book, a children's book at that. This is the type of warped mentality that goes under the surface. How many TV shows try to portray women slapping as romantic?
