yeah that would be hard to find these days. don't look at arrest data because that's just a measure of police bias. you'd need to dig up some survey / polling based research which basically asks people if they're sexually abusing kids (because asking the kids after they grow up if they recall being abused would create a lot of crime reporting style errors in minorities - which is to say, minorities would be less likely to remember something that happened to them as a kid or to think of it as "bad" or a crime or "abuse" than white women would). of course expect the usual misclassification bias that feminists use in recording rape (where a woman raping a man is called something else just to rig the statistics in the summary).

These days you'd have to look hard to even find anything written about female perpetrated child sex abuse.

Women spend more time with kids. That's why they commit more sexual child abuse the same as non-sexual child abuse. But so far this is only acknowledged for non-sexual child abuse because all sex crimes must remain male in the minds of the public.

It's like proving men get raped as often as women in the USA. You'll never see that admitted anywhere except in the context of prison rape because the survey results were deliberately buried and misclassified.

Women's sexual child abuse tends to look like forcing kids to sleep in bed naked with them or hugging them naked a lot or forcing them to breast feed too long. Feminist definitions mean "no penis, no crime". The same way it was for rape for many years (and still is in many countries). I think they used to use the word "enveloping" but maybe I'm just imagining that now since I couldn't find any references. Similar to you have to know the phrase "made to penetrate" to get real rape stats. Again "no penis, no crime" dominates. Therefore women are only recorded as committing the crime if they do so as if they were a man eg penetration with an object.

Okay, firstly I'm still seeing no source for this but that does sound legitimate, I made a similar comment on this sub in reference to how child abuse and the death of kids is more likely to happen at the hands of women simply because children are often around women more.

Secondly, I do think people would be willing to believe that men get raped too, I think if more men came together to talk about and make it known that this does happen people would be more willing to believe it happens. Similarly to how people knew sexual assault happened in Hollywood but not as many people believed it was a common occurrence for many women, not until large groups of women came out and spoke about it.

Thing is that men do not report rape the same way women do because many struggle to believe that what they experience is indeed rape or sexual assault of any kind. That's an issue in itself that we need to actively work in correcting.

Thirdly, I can agree with that, I've witnessed myself women I know participating in behaviour towards younger male (and female) family members that would get disapproving stares from those same women were it a male family member.

Still though, you need a source or else you will sound untrustworthy. Find a source or go out and collect the data. It can only help the cause.

The source for the statement that members of both genders both commit and are victimized by sex crimes is that we all deserve equal protection under the law.

If the statistics are NOT equal, then that means a person born male has a higher probability of being punished by the law than someone born female. Or vice versa.

Either way the takeaway should be that the LAW needs to be modified to fix the descrepancy. Because sex crimes involve sex it needs to be recognized that a perfectly gender neutral definition is not possible except by looking for equality of outcome*.

Neither gender has an obligation to "do better" as a group. The law has an obligation to assign people the same odds of receiving punishment or protection regardless of which sexual group they were born into.

So if we have decided to criminalize a behavior that 0.1 per cent of males engage in, we need to identify a behavior that 0.1 per cent of females engage in and criminalize it too.

The most sexually deviant 0.1 per cent of women are literally just as sexually deviant as the most sexually deviant 0.1 per cent of men. By definition.

Put differently- equality must be a presumption. It is a condition for a fair-minded society to strive for, not a statistic to be argued.

*Note that I am not a general proponent of "equality of outcome". It is only an appropriate proxy when the characteristic in question is inextricably linked to the legal definition of what you are trying to regulate. IE there is no way to define rape without getting genitals involved and any attempt to do so is silly. You just have to come up with something that is fair in practice to everyone with both types of genitals.
