In Germany we have this new law that basically has destroyed free-speech online. You can sue anyone for "being mean" online. This has even been used to sue people for insulting people in eBay reviews. Generally social justice warriors, religious people and "feminists" are using this to curb free-speech on social media.

Someone criticising a group of anti-social males: 1,380EUR fine

Someone saying that gas-chambers should be re-opened and a certain section of people (doesn't specify who) should be thrown in: 4,800EUR fine

Someone saying that the Jews in the second world war their own fault because of something about the Warsaw Ghetto (not enough context to see the point he was making) 5,000 fine

"Merkel should be publicly stoned' 2,000 fine

I don't agree with any of these statements (maybe the last one) but to be fined for making frivolous insults on social media discussions is absolutely ridiculous.

I just want to test if the system works both ways.

I disputed with someone quite politely about whether Serena Williams was one of the top athletes of all time and a homosexual female called me a "privileged hetro dick" name censored link here

So I, in a bid to see if the system works both ways, i.e. if I can sue for "hetrophobia" and sexism towards a male and have reported her to the police for "hate speech".

I got a letter from the Berlin police, looking like they will actually investigate my case!
