In Austria they don't even require classic military service as we know - since up to 40% of conscripted boys choose "civil service", which is few months longer and in fact based on free labor in hospital, emergency, ambulances, elderly care etc. They are not treated as workers and living on pocket money - around 500 euro per month, which means they have to be on their parents support.

And tell me HOW THE HELL girls can't be obliged to civil service (if they are "too weak" for the army). How Austrian boys fits better to clean vomits from hospital floor than his female peers? That's nonsense - mandatory service in Austria is only punishment for being male without any logical reasons.

Men didn't realise outside of feminist Europe. In Austria, it is an open secret that young men try to get injured to not enter military service. Germany has similar problems. Soon this will be a problem in all feminist influenced countries, especially ones with rip off alimony, child support laws.

I heard that Latvia is planning on making military service mandatory for both men and women so looks like it'll join the three Scandinavian countries. Still its something that needs to be talked about a lot more, to me the most anger inducing thing isn't that these things happen its that the media just doesn't talk about them, even more so the case with Ukrainian men.

This is a good point. In all countries from Asia, Europe, America and even middle East men have consistently voted for economic, political and sometimes religious values. While women have for most of the time voted for party which gives them something, rest of the aforementioned things are bonus.

As a result you see all political parties across the globe often give freebies, special treatment and other stuff to women even if it is discriminatory.... Unless we can impress upon them, we can throw them away unless they give us in same manner as women, I don't think anything would change at all.

In Israel, women serve in the army BUT they serve 2 years instead of 3, and they can't be forced into combat roles (they can choose to)

I've also heard women serve in South Korea, but I'm not sure how it really works there

A feminist view and I'm not saying this myself rather I've heard it spoken many times by mean nutters. Is that men are "dispensable". Like their purpose is done after they dump the load. Women, the ones who actually carry the child are the real asset. And of course culture reflects this with women dating a lot more frequently than men/the social demand rigged in their favor provided they are at least normal looking.

So I could see governments with feminist influences looking at it like that. Birther vs dispensable because a single man could impregnate oodles of birthers. And at the end of the day these people only deal in stats and numbers rather than individuals and coupled with feminism being there....that's my answer as to why. I'm not agreeing with it at all. Just describing it.

Probably nowhere. Biologically speaking, male individuals are expendable. Women are the bottleneck in human reproduction (it's not a fault, rather a reality of sexual reproduction) and so are more valued and cherished by societies. It doesn't make these actions treating men as less valuable right or correct, but it's the underlying reason and motivation for these policies.

Edit: some people didn't get it, but I meant that ideally no gender should be conscripted, neither men nor women.
