I haven't read it so it might be wrong, but I'm betting the whole article downplays the predatory nature of such perverts, and perpetuates the same "they fall in love", "they're emotionally / psychologically vulnerable women or suffering from past victimization"

Meanwhile of course men who do it are just plain sexual predators who choose "naive young girls" for power

Here It is. It does start with the "they were abused as children", "they have psychological issue"

However it also addresses the double standard of downplaying women sexually abusing boys and addressed the erection = consent myth and does recognize that the women are manipulating the boys for power

I'm glad; it's a much more condemning of their behavior than I expected by the title

We don't want the word to be watered down. It should be reserved for when men look at women the wrong way.

It's not legally rape here, only women can be raped, men can only be sexually assaulted, which covers everything from the "rape" of a male to a woman seeing a dick.

In such cases, it's a matter of journalists simply following their own herd. Nobody does their own research, thinking, or writing any more.

However that is not to say there isn't a valid reason for avoiding the term "rape" in these cases. In most of the cases (not all) that make their way to this sub (often three or four times each for each stage of the legal proceedings... one post is never enough) there is plainly no rape involved. Rather, the law is called rape, in order to get the public behind the prosecution of consensual, enjoyed sex. This is feminist word theft, and it's regrettable that many here have, in these cases alone, hypocritically cheered it.

CAn we be clear in our statements that we are not defending male pedophiles that rape children. We are demanding that females that rape children be held to the same standards.
