This really made my day, as someone is finally staying out the toxic male body standards and how they are objectified and sexualized in most of popular culture. We have seen women getting told many things and getting convinced that they are uniquely beautiful even if they are morbidly obese. Now, let the men at least feel confident about having a normal healthy body.

It really is ridiculous, they talk about "unrealistic" body standards for females when all you have to do to have a good body as a woman is not over eat and stay somewhat thin, as a man to have a muscular body you have to bust your ass at the gym for 2-3 years at minimum and watch your eating the entire time.

This is what a 50 year old man has to look like to portray a superhero character, 40 year old man, 42,49, 52, on and on...

What about the women? this is what a 32 year old woman has to look like to play the most powerful hero in the MCU, she just has to fit in the costume.

This probably my favorite. notice the two men show the results of years of body training, the women are kind of skinny

In response to u/Cybralisk and u/McFeely_Smackup: but men aren't really turned on by muscular women are they? Muscular women aren't considered feminine. Whereas strong men, mentally and physically, have always been admired.

On the other hand, I've always felt that it's men who admire strong men. Women who prefer strong men I've always suspected are playing the usual game of trying to emulate male standards, in this case about body beauty. I've always felt that a woman will pick an average looking guy wearing a suit, a Rolex watch, and drives a BMW, and hearing that he's a well paid lawyer, over a hot muscular guy who drives an Amazon delivery van.
